Meh - He's not got an economic or foreign policy or energy leg to stand on so he's going for religious / conservative social issues.

Most Christians and / or conservatives are people first and if it comes down to having a job and cheaper gas or doing away with porn...well then its safe to say porn won't be going away.

Clearly it was for research purposes only. You need to understand the enemy and become one with the enemy before you can take him out. I'm sure he did lots of research on drugs as well for our benefit ofcourse.

Steve Jobs was wanting to do the same thing, using his pull and influence from Apple to accomplish it, no wonder Utah doesn't back this guy; seeing how it is the number one state for internet porn subscriptions...that being said it seems to me the people that usually claim such high moral ground are usually themselves eventually caught with their pants around their ankles...such as Jerry Fallwell, James(Jim) Baker, etc etc. Maybe Rick should be known as Rick Sanitarium because that's where he belongs...If it isn't apparent I am no fan of the government in any form trying to play a parenting role on morality...that is what freedom means to me. Besides who is this harming? Certainly not body lotion companies, which I am sure would not be behind Sanitarium's idea lol.

This is NOT a conservative position. I overlooked his stand on abortion (particularly his personal objection to abortion in the cases of incest, rape, and to save the life of the mother) because he has no authority or ability to change the current law and has said he wouldn't seek to do so. However, I can't get past this BS because this clearly demonstrates his willingness to use the federal government to force his morality on Americans. Though I'm typically in agreement with his moral position on many issues I can't support legislating morality...that's not freedom nor is that conservatism. I want LESS government intrusion in my life. 

Time to reevaluate my choice of candidates yet again.

Thirdly, Is it unusual to hear about a priest molesting a young child? Although, I'm sure even though they molest young kids their moral standards would prevent them from looking at porn. So yeah , I'm sure there is no chance they are looking at porn.
