I think that your correlation between the present US and former NAZI Germany is nothing more than a poor attempt at disinformation. Why? There is so many legitimate comparisons, but you choose to draw a twisted connection that relys on the irradication of 75+ years of historical fact in favor of promoting an Arian attempt at rewriting historical events. The Jews were the focal point of NAZI ire because they were an easy target and an isolated and insulated minority. We should consider the present target of ire- the 1% that you claim to be the masterminds behind this Socialist movement. Wait, weren't the Nazis' socaIiststs, the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei? You should rethink the direction of your current conspiracy because it is misleading and unhelpful. The Jews were targeted because they were an easy target and beacause a target was necessary to justify certain changes to the legal system. Hate is a poweful tool, even when it is aimed at the powerful. The real focus should be on the people that have created the problems, but we continue to let them sit in Washington and pull our strings, like mystical puppet masters.

I had a really, really long week, and this post is pretty much the last thing I'm seeing before I turn in.

There's a point I'd like to address. Maybe this thread isn't the place to do it; I'm too tired to go through all the pages. But I've been seeing an awful lot of Nazi talk lately, and it's been going hand-in-hand with Zionist conspiracy stuff. It seems that one feeds the other. And that's all well and good if you want to go down that road -- after all, this is ATS, and I'm not going to stop you. Long live freedom of speech.

However, there's one thing that I cannot allow to be overlooked any longer. That's the million or so of my Romani brothers and sisters who perished. Now, I'm sure it's a conspiracy in itself why that's rarely mentioned, or why so few people even realize that we went through "The Devouring". Or that Mengele preferred us specifically for his twisted medical experiments. Or that before Zyklon-B was rolled out to all the camps, it was tested on a group 150 Romani children. If you didn't know that before, now you do.

Funny story: You know Elie Wiesel -- the guy who wrote Night and got a Nobel prize for it? He was on the board for the Holocaust Museum when it was still just an idea. Somebody proposed to include other victims, including Romani -- because, after all, they were profiled just as badly as the Jewish population. Wiesel threatened to resign if the "gypsies" were included. I think we ended up a single wall or something. For somebody hellbent on never seeing genocide happening again, I see his actions as hypocritical at best.

Of course, what about the homosexuals? The priests? The mentally ill? The physically infirm? The epileptics? The political dissonants? The prisoners of war? Those simply in the wrong place at the wrong time? What happened to those people? Why have we never called out for their justice?

Forgive my cynicism. And please don't mistake me for disliking a particular creed or nationality; that is simply not my intention. However, my intention is simple: If we forget history -- as we have almost been forced to do -- we will invariably repeat it.

To think that the NAZI had some kind of pure blood in them is a conspiracy in and of its self. That area has been a melting pot way longer that America has been settled by the English by thousands of years.

I personally stopped reading after I seeing the word Nazi explained to be a combination of national and zionist...That is utterly false. Anyone who knows about WWII era Germany will know that the word Nazi originated from the German word for national, which is Nazional I believe...

I somewhat see your point but....not in all ways.

I believe progress is simply that...progress. Sometimes we "progress" faster than our wisdom and understanding and that usually doesn't go well.

I think we should be progressing toward a goal....a hope...a dream...call it what you want.

I think we need to get in touch with what that is realistically....no...not everyone can be wealthy....that is part or reflection of a divided system of haves and have nots...that is not going to work....

I think we should be moving toward a unified system....the whole competitiveness is a farce and a lie....we don't need to compete to survive...if we do need to compete...that's what sports were invented for...just ask the ancient Greeks about the reason for the ancient Olympics....it was not to make someone better...it was to direct the need to compete....
