The population balance is horrendous, if your a new player your going to get totally dominated because of the large gear gap your going to have compared to older players. I like the game. But then, I realize it is a game... not a job.

There is no reason to grind at all. There are many things to do in the SW:TOR world, and grinding is not at the top of my list. I have a lot of fun doing space battles, questing, exploring, world PVP, warzones, and just enjoying the game.

You've ruined it for yourself by falling into that same old elitist trap.

Don't ruin it for others just because you didn't know how to slow down and actually pay attention to the storylines and quest dialogue and ridiculously cool scenery and AI.

Yes the movies were for profit, but Lucas use to listen to his staff and actors back then for advice, since Phantom Menace he's been a solo god of insanity and does his closed minded egotistical directing. His film crew and the actors are what made the original series so good... he's grown too powerful since then...

I know that you realize Star Wars is all fiction and the whole franchise is just that - a franchise.

I guess what I don't understand is why you are upset about the expansion of the franchise?

George Lucas et al. are only supposed to use the limited information about a fictional universe given in the original episodes in any additional content?

That's an abysmally small amount of content to embellish on... expanding the universe and lore are staples in any series of fiction; this just happens to be media fiction as opposed to print fiction.

Well thanks OP I downloaded it and played it for 3 days.....and I loved it
I got 4 different characters to level 10 and my face was the empire spy dudette
I can see how they spent so much on it and I know what to buy with my next paycheque
Really good story and wow some op the opening movies brought a lump in my throat (Just the music does that :lol
