Lossless data compression is a class of data compression algorithms that allows the exact original data to be reconstructed from the compressed data. JHC... the stupidity of the posts on ATS has gotten to such a degree that I am just about ready to stop visiting this site. There is much crap on here and almost nothing worth reading any more. I have to sort through all this BULLSH1T to get to anything of real interest.

Over exposure just reveals a lossy jpeg compression.

You can get the same results zooming into a .jpeg at 400% beyond standard size and hitting it with any sharpen, 'find edge,' or edge enhancement filter while even looking at a totally empty space. If you spam it with enough solarize/posterize/sharpen filters, you can see just about whatever you want in the barely recognizable jigsaw hash that comes out of it.

Yeah, you are going to see all kinds of square and rectangle structures. That's because PIXELS ARE SQUARE.

(Did you just label yourself a "professional" at what you do? lol...come on. Don't make us start asking for verification. You'd hate how that would go.)

May I ask what is it you do and what you are a professional at?

Im with the others, I see extreme tool playing in photoshop....
This is nothing but image manipulation not bringing out actual objects but brining out over processed pixels and creating some colorful artwork....



im in photoshop daily and i know exactly what is going on here....

LOL.....so you have a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue and, as stated in one of "your" interviews:

started working down here as an instructor for the astronauts and also as a flight controller to control the International Space Station thermal and electrical systems

yet you are now doing Art for NASA? I will just be blunt and call complete BS on everything you say as well as your claimed "persona" coupled with the fact that your own youtube page cites quotes from you saying the government, and in particular, NASA, told you to take you stuff down for copyright issues. If you are in art and work with NASA's photos all day then you would know the proper channels to be able to use these photos in your videos and would most likely have had to go through proper channels to get permission to use them.

Prove me wrong....please. You do the same thing on every post you make....you get criticized then disappear from the thread and begin a new one with even more sensational claims....

And by the way.....you fail at even trying to back up your own false claim of being Curt Peternell.....he doesn't work for NASA anymore. Hasn't since last year and also has nothing to do with Art or Design for NASA.

I highly recommend you learn about digital imaging before making such claims. This is not even close to a reasonable assumption.

As you by now no doubt realize, this place is crawling with people who are very experienced. Your video shows nothing of interest whatsoever. It only shows you don't know much about digital imaging. Sorry

Maybe that is why I am not worried about posting here. And maybe I am trying to reverse what I have seen before in the photos. Its all good. take care.

Really? Because if you really did work for NASA and really did have access to pictures that showed bases on another celestial body, or alligators if you will, you would have had to sign plenty of NDA type docs and had secret clearances that would have held you on counts of treason for releasing such information.

I agree. It's one thing debating a topic but when it gets down to mud-slinging...the very people who say threads like this make ATS not worth visiting....are the very people who taunt, tease and ridicule like a 4th-grader.

The OPs profession is NOT in question. By the way, where's YOUR certificate showing YOU'RE a pilot (and you know who I mean)?????

He said he was a professional "at this" (whatever that means), so yeah, his profession is fair game now. He brought it up. Nobody else. He is making the claims....and hinting at being someone in a certain position at a certain agencey.

As far as the other member, that member has been vetted by staff. Assuming we are talking about the same one and im sure we are.

As one who is in PS everyday......the images are nothing but extreme manipulation of the tools. They are not showing any UFO factory. It is photo manipulation and Pareidolia...
One could take an image of some desert on Earth and produce the same results......

Okay. OP brought it up. But we're visiting this thread because of the finding not his profession. I know it's fair-game now (that he brought it up) but it just feels like an assault. Not debate. It's still HIS opinion regardless of his profession and THAT'S what we should be discussing. Not whether or not he works for NASA. Make another thread for that.

PS. I'm sure we're talking about the same pilot-person so.....good enough for me. But man, I'm glad he didn't piloted any of my flights with that abrasive attitude of his because I would've stormed the cockpit and been deemed a terrorist!
