Hope there isn't a tsunami!

It's so close it makes you wonder how long this plant will be an issue- or how long the information surrounding it will be clouded by Japan..

Thoughts?

I watched the PBS special (what was it last week?) on the inside look, and god- I had been on here, and looking at all the threads about it, and than seeing it- it was just so surreal. Listening to those workers stories was heartbreaking. I hope they get this under control soon.

Yeah, I know about it.

I'm just saying that that story is about a Friday from last year.

Last year about this time did they not have a similar quake followed by a much stronger one?

lol it's cool dude....flame off lol.

Like someone said this could be a precursor quake to a bigger one... it would suck for the people of Japan to have to go through that all over again within one year's time...So if it does hit, lets hope it hits somewhere else, if not at all

Is three 6.8's since august of last year strange?

one in August, one in Jan, one in March?

Or at least that's what all those wrong articles I posted were saying.. not I kinda wish I didn't delete them.. ah the irony.

That area seems to be shaking like nobodies business since the big one that caused Fukushima and the calamity of the Tsunami itself. I guess there may be a good side in a 6.8 bleeding tension off the fault? At least that was the story I recall hearing Southern California media say after quakes?

It's great to hear, so far anyway, that there is nothing serious for damage to report. I have Fox on as background noise and they're talking about it happening but nothing about actual impact. Here is hoping that good news continues. Japan could use a break.
