First of all I have never believed or really given much thought to ghosts being a UFO buff. However cruising for ufo videos I came across this film (its got a ufo tag) of what defiantly looks like a figure moving about on ruin of a pier structure that the info says is nearly a mile out to sea and in a very dangerous condition. There doesn't seem to be any boats moored or near it so it beats me why somebody would be on it.Very strange indeed.

Interesting video. However, there can always be a boat on the other side of pier. We only get to see that side not the other so it could be a caretaker of some sort.

It looks like a person. There isn't direct line of sight to the other side in a lot of places, dude could have kayaked there, small fishing boat, etc.

Likely a person, before it is a ghost.

Wasn't this in the paper's not long ago with still shots? If it is the same story then you could see the CGI cutouts from the before-and-after shots.

That aside, what exactly is ghostly about this? Is it beyond the realms of somebody gaining access to the pier prior to the video taking place, then moving any boats out of sight before filming under bad weather conditions?

For starters, the camera's too shaky for me, it zooms in and out needlessly on several occassions and half way through they start pointing down the beach and leave the shot completely, as if to disguise or hide something away from the viewer.

Absolute waste of 2 minutes watching if you ask me.

Yes of course you could be right but when the video pans back you can see through the pier legs and I don't see any vessel moored up.

There's a diagonal structure to the left hand side of the pier jutting upward to the left, could this be attached to a boat moored behind it? It appears to be coming up from the water behind the pier?

Just had a good long look freezing frames in full screen and I cant see anything resembling a boat or kayak through the piers legs but as has been pointed out it could be out of sight.

Surely someone owns it or at least has property rights to it. Maybe not an individual, but a company or corporation or maybe even the government. There could be any number of reasons for someone being out there. Safety inspection or appraisal come to mind. Maybe someone's thinking about selling or demolishing it.

Yeah I reckon this is a bit suspect. Why is the dude filming even filming that far away? Was it just a pure coincedence that he zoomed in so close and happened to see this thing or was it a set up? Along with the other points others have made.
Would be freaky if it was a ghost tho

And don't worry I'm not attacking you or anything or throwing accusations just sayin what im thinking

This is the pier in its heyday and also videos of it today. There is no doubt this guy was at full zoom on his camera as the pier is very long and the end is far out to sea.Looks like a very dangerous structure I wouldn't get on it that's for sure.

Just found this story posted on the video

There is a story related to this; that a lone fisherman moored up his dinghy at the Pier head about 30 years ago, at night so no-one would know. He apparently fell off and drowned. His dinghy came unhitched and drifted along to Whitstable, and his body was never found. Spooky.

Maybe someone should go check it out! It may be someone who was lost at sea and swam to this pier for safety.... just waiting for someone to save him?!

It doesn't seem like a ghost to me, just a person standing on the pier. There probably is a boat on the other side of the pier.

Not saying you are wrong but looking through the legs I can't see a boat.

Oh ok my bad didn't realise it was a kind of historic place. That is still quite freaky though

Looks odd to me OP. No features to see, no color variations, just black, and what is that weird stooped over running at 1:01. Also, that pier is wasting away. There is no way I'd go on that thing. I can't see any kind of boat either. I have seen and experienced a lot of things, I know ghosts are real.
Thanks for posting.

Weird, I think I have seen something like this before I'm not sure its the same pier though..

But seriously who would even want to go on that pier on their own - NOT ME!

New video been posted shows two Ghosts ? one has a fishing rod. Apparently there was a fiherman who fell off the pier 30 years ago body was found in whistable. But to me these look too real and solid although I still cant see any boat near the structure or through the pier legs.

Agreed, that scared the hell out of me. He also seems to hang his head far forward, not really normal.

Also, at around 32 seconds, something drops or swings behind the pier legs at the left side. Sort of a crescent shape.

Where was this taken? It reminds me of the pier in Brighton that burnt down a few years back

Just a suggestion
