I'm no expert but I realize there are similarities...isn't Quetzalcoatl an Aztec deity and Kukulkhan a Mayan one?...similar...aka...a feathered and winged serpent....but one is not the other....or maybe they are....I don't know....

There was so many cultures rising, falling and being conquered and incorporated in Central and South America...it is hard to keep them straight....Olmecs anyone?

I've read almost all the thread and it seems that noone can prove the autenticity of these artifacts and beside that many people dont trust the fellow presenting them.
Many people asked... why did he get so mad about recording the presentation?
And later in thread, someone posted something about a documentary from Mexico and Gautemala about some evidences that mayan had contact with ET's (sorry for not mentioning the person who came with This article from reuters

Just a guess... do you think is possible that these artifacts being debunked here could be some of the information that will be on that documentaray that will come out later 2012? And thats why he didnt want no one to record the presentation?... Just a thought..

regards

Julia-Levy has made it quite clear that he has "proof" of aliens visiting the Maya. Of course he has already been called out on a number of lies he has made so I don't expect the rest of the documentary to be any different. The only reason the Mexican government is supporting this documentary is because they are desperate for tourism.

not if we were told they are giving us new technology to improve the living standards around the world. I would embrace them

Well... thats a good point.

Even going for "teasing" the MSM and all for it, certainly undermining its credibility in a ATS perspective

Anyway... it will be nice to watch

I'm not sure as to what will be released and anything's possible, but I will certainly view this documentary to see what new information if any will be released. I just hope it's not more of the same mumbo jumbo that we've already learned about. I'm a tad bit excited about the whole ordeal to tell you the truth.

Only time will tell

So 18 pages and no proof these are real?! If these are real and date back that far then wow...they'd be the most incredible find ever and proof that they either had incredibly similar dreams and visions as current day people do or that they did encounter other beings. I'm just having a really hard time believing they're real.

Your right in thinking that the Mexican government stands to profit from this and of course they know that but don't take for granted there want and need to be recognized as a relevant and viable government in today's world. If these claims held no merit, I personally don't think they would fully endorse it as they have and furthermore I don't think they would have received full lateral support from other governments such as Peru to name one.

I think what they have is the real deal, the question will be if it is a smoking gun or as usual something that is left up to interpretation. Hard evidence is probably out there but I just don't know if the Mexican government has it or if they would be allowed to showcase it for the entire world.

I agree that there is a possibility that aliens are visiting our planet regularly, and they could return soon ...

There's also new evidence that the Maya were in Georgia and Florida. Here's new research that shows Mayan glyphs appear on pottery in the southeastern U.S.:

Mayan Pottery, Pyramids Unearthed in Georgia?

The above story also includes an interesting Mayan myth about the origins of their calendar. They claim a bright light came from the sky and hovered above the ground for four days. Then a being came out and spoke to all the astronomers and astrologers and gave them their calendar and said he'd always be watching over them. Interesting, eh?

Also, here's evidence of Mayan words in the languages of Native Americans from the southeast:

Mayan Words Among Georgia's Indians?

And here's evidence of early European eye-witness accounts of Mayan gold mining in the Georgia mountains:

Mayan Gold Mines in Georgia?

And here's evidence that the Maya were also likely mining clay in southwest Georgia from which they made the very important pigment called Maya Blue:

Were the Maya Mining Blue Pigment from Georgia?

Lots of food for thought!

Here's the Mayan myth from the article about Mayan glyphs on Georgia pottery:

On the day we call Tecpatl ( Flint ) a great light came from the northeastern sky. It glowed for four days in the sky, then lowered itself to that rock (the rock can still be seen at Tenochtitlan de Valle in Oaxaca ). From the light there came a great, a very powerful being who stood on the very top of the rock and glowed like the sun in the sky.

There he stood for all to see, shining day and night. Then he spoke, his voice was like thunder, booming across the valley.

Our old men and women, the astronomers and astrologists, could understand him and he could understand them.

He (the Solar Beam) told us how to pray and fixed for us days of fast and feasting. He then balanced the “Book of days,” (Sacred Calendar) and left, vowing that he would always watch down on us, his beloved people.

You can read it here:

The difference between the Mayans and society today is that the Mayans welcomed new ideas and we don't. If aliens came to Earth nowadays, our first instincts would be to kill them.

Perhaps, but why would these 'galactic' travelers come to visit the Mayans? Why would they not have visited the Roman Empire at it's height? Because the Romans documented how they built their mega-structures, or organized their empire, or how they created their sculptures...so there isn't any sport in claiming that Aliens Did It. I just can't see why advanced civilizations from the depths of space would come here to mess with South and Central American primitives, but ignore the rest of the planet.

I just googled "Roman Empire UFO reports" and there were 1.5 million results roughly.

And many stories from the Roman era of what we would call modern UFO reports.

And you were saying?

In the future as well as off world travellers are very intrigued with time traveling and visiting the Roman era. The times of jesus. etc. Face it, if we could time travel these are the times you would want to visit. Verify history.

The proof so far points to hoax.

Blossom River Group had claimed that these pieces were tested at a university lab, they cited the lab on the website selling the artifacts. Until the head of the lab saw the claims and went public saying he never tested anything for them.

Blossom River Group then purged the web of anything related to them.

I'd say it's safe to call it a hoax.

Ancient pagans breed humanoid monsters that they divinated, and could possibly fly. Many of them were deformed hemophiliacs and other types of anemics. They committed human sacrifices to these "Gods" as they drank their blood, and used the souls of the dead to do thier dirty work. Today, the British descendants of the notorious Viking King Knut have real space ships, and real Vampires. The Hannibal Lechter Set.

What the Roman's did was impressive(But they ripped it off from everyone else they conquered), but nowhere near the scale of accomplishment of the Mayans. It is only really surpassed by the Sumerians, and our own Civilization.

Those "artifacts" stink of fakeness to me. I think they are somebody's art project. There seems to be no verified source for them. However, there are already plenty of petroglyphs and artifacts that are as good of "proof" as any of those in terms of appearing to be extra-terrestrials of all sorts.
