Somehow everyone's DVD winds up in my collection, brothers, dads, moms. I have about 10 that are'nt mine and I have to hide them whenever a friend comes over.

You think I want them to see Legend's of the Fall next to They Live, or Legally Blonde?!?

Embarrassing to who? Me? Or everyone else? Here's the one's people laugh at when they see that I have them in my collection:

1.) Dark Star
2.) Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn
3.) Buckaroo Banzai
(Sorry Spectre)

But these I movies I personally love for one reason or another...

Why the hell would people laugh at Dark Star? It's an absolute low budget classic, I personally think it's a great film.

I do not know either. I love anything that Carpenter made, although I still haven't figured out Mouth of Madness(I'm slow).

That orange/redish trash bag alien/monster thing, though used to freak me out when I was a kid.

In The Mouth of Madness was probably his last great film ( Vampire$ and Ghosts of Mars seem to have confirmed that he's lost it
)

It was part of his Apocolypse trilogy along with The Thing and Prince of Darkness.

ITMOM will probably confuse some but it is class, the scariest bit for me is that cyclist they keep bumping into on the highway, gives me chills everytime *shudder*

Xhoalin Soccer. Hilarious stuff, even with its poor script, but that is one of the things that make it so funny.

This is a great thread. Well I really have a hard time choosing because I have a lot of crap, which for the most part I like and others dislike. By the way do DVD sitcoms count?

Anyway, here is my DVD sitcom collection that I would not admit to having:
1.) Who's the Boss (Episode 1)
2.) Northern Exposure (Episodes 1, 2, and 3); I am fascinated with Alaska.

Movie that I have that trully sucks:
1.) Stay Hungry, it is an early Arnold movie made in 1976, which also stars Sally Field and the guy who played Freddie Kruger

Movies that I have, which I think are good:
1.) No Retreat, No Surrender staring Jean Claude Van Damme
2.) An Officer and a Gentleman
3.) The Labrinth

What I meant to say are seasons not episodes.

I was refering to those videos that you have to go into the back room to get.

Yes I remember those days, standing at the video rack right next to the door to the back room looking around to see if anyone was watching and then just going for it when the coast was clear!!!

You would have loved my reaction once I finally entered the back room and discovered that there was someone else in there. I would have to think fast of something to say like "Isn't this where the Shirley Temple films are located?".

Peace

I bought a copy of "Elf" and hated it so badly, I gave it to some kids who are too young to care. Technically, it's not in my collection, but I'm embarrassed to say I bought it.

I used to have an actual video made by the Militia of Montana. It was a gift from someone.

Talk about tinfoil hat stuff. If it rains, the government is controlling the weather.
