I have a really big problem because i like to download old games that are obselete and abandon and I found a game that I love, Transport tycoon, but I keep on get memory errors and then the game crashes(at the main menu, plus i get an error message when I start the game) It's a dos based game but it's brillant. I'm running XP.

Please help is there special software required to play old games. Alot of them give windows errors.

These work really well on most old dos games. They are dos emulators that will even give you sound in windows XP.

I don't know if you are aware of this, but in XP if you right-click on an executable you can select to run it in a previous Windows version compatiablity mode. This doesn't always work, but you can try it out.
