Pink Slime-Good For You??

So by now most of us know about pink slime and how they use it in fast food and our school lunches. For Those who are not familiar here is a video telling you about it.



This is ground up meat trimmings that have ammonia and other chemicals to try to kill the e coli and other nasty bacteria unfortunately that doesn't always work. Makes you want to throw up when you think of that burger you had for lunch don't it.

So now theres been a huge back lash and people are finding out that this garbage is being served to kids at school. Its funny that fast food joints responded by pulling the slime (at least thats what they say but who knows) and the response for school lunches is that its good for them! Wow who knew that tainted food would be good for your kids!

Pink slime is not legal in the UK and any processed foods that require mechanically processing have to be labled mechanically reclaimed meat which is why nobody bothers producing any.

wish it was the same here but it seems our country is in to slowly killing us off.

The food standards in the US is probably of the lowest standard in the developed world. It is such a shame and it is mostly down to the lack of food education in schools. America seems to live off processed foods.
