Getting ready for work and my friend suddenly shouts out, "Wow! a truck just exploded!"
I set up a camera on tripod to catch the incident.
Another explosion and the cab was engulfed within a minute or less.

The footage is uploaded in two parts
Part 2 will be linked to when upload is finished.

I hope the driver got out OK.
If he got out, we did not see, nor or film.

When the second explosion happened as I reviewed the footage, I couldn't believe it.
I used to drive combinations and I still am trying to figure out what would cause such a explosive fire.
Turbo? Fuel leak?
What ever it was, it took it's toll quickly.

Most secondary explosions are caused by BLEVE's. Boiling liquid expanding vapor explosions. Hope everyone's okay though.

When did this happen? This looks like just south of Seattle close to Boeing. You can see I-5 in the distance. There's nothing in the Times about this.

This happened just now about 11 AM

Any word on the operators?

I can't watch that video if it was fatal.

I would surmise that the driver escaped because there was no trooper or any investigation noticed on scene as one would expect in a fatality.

With that said, I now believe he made it.

The film ran until my SD Memory was full.
After video stopped, the on scene action dispersed in short order so I doubt this was a fatal incident.
That is about the only good news under the circumstances.

I was referring to the video footage I took as being exclusive.
I.e. I didn't link to a syndicated video or such.

I fail to see the news value or conspiracy here. On an international news site, what makes you feel we should give this attention?

tip.

Next time edit the first 48 seconds. and by edit i mean delete. You lost viewers because it took 48 seconds for you to get the camera set up on target.

Other than that was a pretty uninteresting video, although for the drivers in cars driving by it must have been scary to not know if it was going to blow up as you drove by or not.

Alternately,
An edited version would start accusations of being non-authentic.
Perhaps a note to jump to the start point would have been in order.
