Should food no longer be taxed as we are in a recession?

Now IS the time to pay taxes, any tax you can think of, we need to get the US out of debt. Of course we need to make sure Obama does not go to war. That's why we are hurting. We need to let our so-called know we are sick of it. Has anyone ever really put any thought into our debt? Do you understand how much the government rakes in each month in taxes? Do you realize how much money the US has somehow spent? Do the math. We are being robbed. The US infrastructure should be solid, the surplus should be triple what it was when Clinton left office. People need to take one hour, one freaking hour of your lives, and do the math. Look at your city, state, and federal spending, look at the taxes they took, and what they spent it on, and when you see the Scam in black and white, Hell would not be able to stop all of you storming the governments and taking back America. This land is YOUR land, not the 1%. The 1% are the 1% because of the work of the 99%. The 99% are the majority yet your voices are never heard.

For goodness sake. One minute you say we need to be taxed more and the next you are saying we are being robbed and we should find out what the govt spends our money on. Wanna make up your mind?

Hardly. It doesn't matter how much tax payers pay in taxes, if the money is going to pork projects and to fund wars in countries we have no business being in.

If the governments (city, county, state, and federal) were to actually try and balance their budgets, and spend within their means, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

Every government official who controls where money gets spent need to spend 5 years living as a poor person. Maybe then they'd realize what's important to spend money on and what isn't.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how much money the government brings in, they are only there to spend it. It seems the system is geared toward spending everything it gets. If someone in government manages to control their department or service and use less than is budgeted that year, next year they get less. There is no reward for spending less.
