Basically we are taught, conditioned, to accept authority unquestioningly. State school is the main form of teaching acceptance to authority, any 'higher' power. It's all about creating compliant workers, and consumers, who know enough to argue illusionary politics, but not enough to know it's an illusion. They don't have to lie, they just have to take things out of context, and show things from only one perspective.
