Hi all

Just a random question i thought i should throw out to yous guys....

What is the song that is most frequently stuck in your head?

After reading an article on the BBC News website about 'ear worms', i went on to complete an online survey linked from the article, that asked questions about what kind of songs are frequently stuck in your head, at what time, and why you think it happens, why there are usually certain lyrics you always hear etc....

I have 2 songs that most frequently play around in my head... bob marley's redemption song and jefferson airplane - white rabbit....

so what kind of music goes round in your head if any? and do you think there's any particular reasons, for when, where, how and why......?

i get songs stuck in my head all the time but these are the two most common ones

Lets do the time warp again!

This one is always in my head, for years.
My boss and I listen to the radio everyday and most of our earworms come from the 2 most played artist, Elton John and Phil Collins. I think they have more radio play hits than anyone? They should get the earworm honor trophy.

and 80s music...all day, everyday...the worse the song, the more frequently i find myself busting out solos, waltzing my way through the aisles of groceries and random microphones...

i regularly get songs in my head, but sometimes they're not always the same and sometimes they dont have lyrics.... i think depending on what it is im doing/thinking/exposed to, a certain song will pop into my head.
do you ever get that?
and do you reckon that if you're a musician or have been one - you are more likely to get these 'ear worms'....?
