"Overpopulation" is false, it's an excuse so you can enjoy sex without consequences. The creator of sex made if for marriage and procreation because He said "be fruitful and multiply."

Where did god allegedly say not to enjoy sex and that population was the only reason for it?

The catholic church on the topic of sex....
That's like asking a blind person what they think of a certain painting,
Or a deaf person giving music lessons.

There is not a single organisation or institution on earth that is more obsessed by sex then the catholic church.

ya, ya, I know....
the managers, ya they deserve to be healthy!!
the poor single mothers....ya, they deserve to be healthy!!
the poor, poor children, ya they deserve to be healthy, even if their parents make close to a hundred thousand a year, we'll make sure they are insured!!
the actual workers...na, we don't deserve crap do we?? just keep on working, keep on paying those taxes, oh, and by the way, we are increasing this tax, that that tax over there, and that one there on ya because we need more money for medicaid!!
the simple fact that people are paying taxes that are being used to help other "less advantaged" people have healthcare....
MAKES THE PEOPLE PAYING THOSE TAXES DESERVING OF THE SAME CARE!!!

If you want to make healthcare affordable:
1) kick out the illegals and their anchor children.
2) Allow the interstate commerce of health insurance.
3) Get social security out of the federal governments hands via the creation of an interstate compact.
4) Divide Social security in half, a public retirement insurance, and a public disability insurance Agencies. 5)Reform tort limits
6) subsidize the cost of medical and dental equipment.
7) Subsidize the educational cost of Doctors, Surgeons, Dentists, Nurses, and CNA's.

but big business wants a ton and a half of illegal immigrants willing to work for minimum wage...

and insurance in general is something the states have taken responsibility of oversight...it's their right!! what happened to state's rights, or is that something that is esteemed only when it's convenient?

an interstate compact?? ya, that's good!!! now that there isn't any cash in the social security fund, only IOU's ya, through them on to the states, should work out great!!! how about it we at least acknowledge that those IOU's are legitamate and an attempt should at least be made to restore the money that the crooks in gov't have raided to fund their wars and their friends bank accounts with!!! interstate compact?? ya, why do I get the idea that wall street gamblers are somewhere in that compact!!

separating social security from disability is a good idea, and while we are at it.....can we put some of the smucks that are faking back problems, mental problems, and whatever else back to work?? seems that having all those who can work, actually working and paying into the fund would help a heck of alot also....
so wouldn't raising the limit on how much is subject to the social security tax, in more ways than one....since it's those who are making over that limit that are the lucky ones who get to see raises year after year.....
kind of makes me wonder if that limit isn't acting as an incentive not to give the rest of use any raises...

subsidize, subsidize, subsidize!!! ya, we need more subsidies!!! the gov't hands out grants for buildings, medical equipments, ect....and there's special grants and scholoarships for doctors and nurses...
not to mention research and development....
which, quite frankly, at the end of the day, means that a heck of alot of tax money is being taken from the taxpayer, for helping those in need get their care, to training the medical providers, to building the buildings, coming up with new drugs and cures, to buying the equipment!!

now, why shouldn't the taxpayers who are providing the funding for it all not be benefiting from it???

the unholy ignorant "catholic church" lost the right to have a say when it sexually abused & castrated CHILDREN against their WILL. Yes a news story has surfaced smoking gun evidence the so called "catholic church" did in fact castrate children against their will & so along side the sexual abuse charges, the "church" lost any and ALL credibility it had, therefore deserves NO advice from them is heeded or taken. It is truly funny that now this video surfaces on youtube, only after the sexual abuse cases have gone international & the castration story has surfaced. The "church" is outdated, ignorant & NOT holy. It has lost a great deal of followers and continues to lose more followers. I laugh at the "church" they are laughable at best, at worst a HUGE joke.

BHO can't figure it out, he doesn't see. Can a conservative president
demand you pay for a free Bible for those who need one? No.

All sexual sins are sins against the 6th Commandment. Sex is for marriage and children. A woman isn't fertile 30 days a month, God is
for sex. The fruit of accepting contraception, rejecting the truth that it is a grave sin.

Adultery

Destruction of the family, fatherless homes

Divorce

Fornication

Loss of purity and innocence of our children

STDs

Deadly consequences, breast cancer, blood clots

Disrespect of women - a horrid example, pornography

"The Pill", the "morning after pill" are abortifacients, they cause an abortion

God bless you Garfee,

average amount of days in cycle:
28

average lenth of period
5-7 days

lenth of time of biblical "uncleaness"
7 days

days of ovulation
3

that gives you approximately
11 days of safe "biblical" sex to enjoy somewhere withint that cycle...
but be careful, you might want to give yourself a little leeway this way or that to account for that stress, or that feeling under the weather that the women may be feeling that just may throw her cycle off a tad bit!!!

now reckon...just how many christian couples have sex less than 11 days in a 28 day period??

If I were the Catholic Church I would be more worried about all those lawsuits and dwindling attendance for mass then Planned Parenthood.

mike,

To abstain, then, when you are together makes it special, yes?

Judaism in the Old Covenant, Christianity, which includes Protestants rejected contraception, they followed God's way.

In the 1930's Protestants approved of contraception for the first time.

Catholics have followed. The Church teaching hasn't changed though...

Here you go...the loss of faith is the reason for the low Mass attendance
in our time.

And I care about what people do in their private lives? and I can honestly can care less about the plight of The Church, which I feel brought this on themselves.

MisticRebel,

There has always been perversity and it isn't exclusive to the Church.

Reject the Church bringing up the priest's homosexual scandal. It wasn't pedophile but homosexual. Libs, disbelievers can 't call it what it is because they wholeheartedly approve of sodomy.

Again, there is sexual abuse in every area or group worldwide. Man has a fallen nature.

Second, man's propensity to sin doesn't make the teachings of the Church
false, it shows we need the Church more, she has the Truth.

Truth doesn't change.

The Catholic Church is a religious institution that just happens to have branched into businesses. It is first and foremost a religious entity.

What?
Wait.

WHAT?!!
You mean, like.:
The mafia just happens to have branched into businesses...it is first and foremost a Roman Catholic entity.

Right? Like that?

News flash.... it is first and foremost and last and pastmost a BUSINESS that happened to branch into enslaving people using terrorist techniques along with fake 'miracles', mandatory 'attendance', and ... and...killing all of those.....

never mind.
Really?
I just can't believe, especially on ATS, that there are still people who just don't get it.

Obama should knock down the catholics. The catholic church is one of the biggest and most controversial religion in the world. The Pope is a strong public religious figure. As we see, we are living in a time where The Pope is traveling worldwide. He just visited México and is now going to the Américas. This, I think will make a big commotion. The catholic church, in my opinion, is up to something. .very big. This might sound weird but maybe for world domination, like a totalitarian.
One thing I can confirm is that they are not the real church.

"the church", is the men and women who truly believe in the teachings of christ.
they might chose to meet in a catholic church, or a protestant, one of those big super mega churches, or that little church on the hill. they also might also chose to just gather a few fellow believers within their own home, or another's.....

and, I got a feeling that there are alot of women within that church that use contraception.....

the catholic church having a hissy fit over weather obama's healthcare law mandates that insurance treats birth control like preventive treatment to me seems to be the church trying to enlist the gov't in aiding them to just keep their own in line.
like I said, if it was the jahova witnesses complaining about having to cover blood transfusions, would there be as many on these boards supporting their religious rights also?? I kind of doubt it....

Yes your right. All churches are the same. It's mostly always the poor and needy that go to church for "Hope." But the main ones are the people in charge of the catholic church like The Pope. He can almost practically do anything he wants and the church will cover him.
Which isn't cool at all.

This law, I think, defies the catholic church. And besides if it was the jehovah witnesses they wouldn't care. They don't have enough power and money like the catholic church.
