Hello,

I'm not sure how to go about this so i'm just going to spit it out and hope you can make sense of it because i sure as hell cant.

I banged my head a few weeks back, real hard went to a&e. Doctors said i was ok and sent me home but over the past week strange things are happening, i'm experiencing some really ****** up things.

Lets see, Thiers my Changing sleep patterns: restlessness, hot feet, waking up two or three times a night.
Then we have, Tingling, itching, prickly, crawling sensations along the top of my head and down my spine.
And, Increased senses.. my smelling power is unbelievable now i can smell a packet of tomato crips from the loft of my house and we have 4 floors.

Then we have the slightly stanger occurences of my blurred vision followed by a immense feeling of energy and power that i cant explain, Aswell as daydreams that are really intense. I've seen solar flares, earthquakes, bank robberies and bombings all this week and in great detail.

Over the last day i have experienced Increased deja vu and i mean over stupid things i know the phones gunna ring minutes beforehand. I actually went and sat next to it earlier today and picked it up before it got a ring off.

I am scared but i feel like everything is going to be fine i dont fear for my life but i dont know what to do anymore my reality is closing around me i dont know whats realy anymore. Can anyone help me please

Try drinking 15 tall glasses of tap water per day, followed by microwaved food dinners, Ramen noodle lunches, watch 5+ hours of CNN & FOX news daily, and in a couple weeks you should be back to "normal".

Or you could try banging your head again to reverse the effects, it works in cartoons.

Instead of listening to armchair conspiracy nuts, make an immediate appointment with a board-certified neurologist.

A&E (aka ER in USA) only really cares whether or not you are going to die on their working shift. If you aren't, you are "OK" in their world.

you shouldn't talk about yourself like that, could hurt your sense of self-worth.

OP, it's okay, what you're experiencing is called "Life", live it, and continue to push the envelope, willing or not.

Ditto. Go see a specialist, any hit to the head can offer you a host of neurological issues.
Good luck. God speed.

Ill be honest, i'm really skeptical about your post due to you explaining these symptoms almost like you copy and pasted.

On the other hand, i'm going through the EXACT same thing. It's something really strange.

These past few days I have been seeing some *SNIP* too. I get Deja vus atleast 10 times a day, lasting longer the more they happen. I can get by on less sleep, yet at times i feel extremely exhausted, unable to get out of bed. I get cold chills up my spine at unexpected times. Been having the weirdest sequence of events, nausea, dizziness, head aches, vibrations all around my body, especially in the head.

I'd like to hear more from you, and what you're feeling before i share more of the really weird *SNIP*

Wouldn't be the first time an emergency room physician missed something. They almost killed me. Went to the ER with nausea and really bad pain in my stomach. They told me I had the flu and to go home and rest. Next day, my appendix ruptured and I almost didn't make it...

I'd say concussion. Also, did they prescribe anything for you? Could be concussion coupled with side-effects of a narcotic pain-killer.

Or maybe you were bitten by a radioactive spider?

what you are talking about sounds like what happens if I meditate too much. Maybe you're not ok though. I would get checked out again, but like someone else said and I have one to add, just drink some beer if of age, and get some flouride in ya, and some sugar...I can feel my brain waves slowing just talking about it..

but I would go see someone. I never go to doctors, but If I had the same story as you. I would.

Go back to the doctor! Go to a different doctor for a 2nd opinion. Get xrays, cat scan, whatever... Nobody here can help you and diagnose a head injury....only a professional can!!!

Exactly.

I know when I need a medical diagnosis, I come to ATS first.

Not that I've ever come to a decision on it, but it does remind me of Peter Hurkos.

Peter Hurkos (21 May 1911, Dordrecht – 1 June 1988, Los Angeles), born Pieter van der Hurk, was a Dutchman who allegedly manifested extra-sensory perception following a head injury and coma resulting from a fall from a ladder when he was age 30.

But, YES, see a specialist. Good luck.

Listen to GEL...... a "bump" on the head -- any bump on the head -- can cause serious medical issues.

That said, some of the symptoms you describe sound very much like a Temporal Lobe Seizure. These are symptoms that should not be ignored. Seek competent medical attention at once!

That's why I always have multiple layers of tin foil for my hat.

It softens the concussions I suffer on ATS while banging my head on the desk continuously after reading certain threads.

I have to say I do agree that you should make an appointment to see a neurologist if you do remember hitting your head on something, as most of these symptoms are shared with those of epilepsy (Simple partial and complex partial seizures, usually associated with Temporal lobe epilepsy).

But to be completely honest, I have been feeling the exact same feelings as has my best friend, and we haven't hit our heads on anything. And before anyone tells me to 'follow my own advise'; I have already had a full workup this week, head CT, full bloodwork, and carotid ultrasound, only to find NOTHING.

So if anyone has any idea what's going on, I would love to chat.

What if someone on here was a doctor and could help? That sounds like a big assumption there...
