Apples and oranges are best when mixed into a tossed salad. Another diversion tactic. So sad.

Casinos make a lot of money. Moon missions cost a lot of money...

...a hell of a lot of money. NASA's budget during Apollo was astronomical [no pun intended] compared to after Apollo.

Come on now my friend and fess up.
The MONEY comes from the lower 80 percent tax payers and feeds the heads of NASA and thier govermental support teams.
What does the Taxpayer get. Crappy worthless photographs of a place so far removed from the life of a AMERICAN family.Ones who payed for them (maybe only in a small part) But Who is having thier home foreclosed on. When the crappy photo money could be spent to help the families children one day be inspired to look to the cosmos with bright eyes instead of turning to a needle or a crack pipe.

Yeah, I understand you are fielding alot of crapola, here . . . Not to worry.

I believe we went to the moon. I do not believe the moon was placed there by 'ancient capitalists'. It's absurd to me that it was all filmed on a sound set in LA.

However, as long as the organizations who put american astronauts on the moon continue to deny the existence of crafts I've seen - 200 ft above my head - and lights in the sky moving at rates and angles which currently "public" flying machines do not, I will be prone to sepculation about what was discovered on our various spaceflights.

I believe our astronauts when they talk about their experiences in space - including Cooper and Buzz when they talk about UFO's.

Thanks,
Nexo

Dude,
Just when I was starting to appreciate you, you jump up with this stereo-type jazz.
Do be a Prince and look at the previous page.
Also, why would you waste your time saying stuff like this when you are really so much better at parroting all the techy talk. And quite well may I add.
BTW I am human not just a robotic shill. And I do feel it is a waste of all of our time replying to your post above. I was brought up well enough to know that it is not nice to ignore someone. Actually I thought this was a discussion not a debate. Perhaps I have just wandered into a Trecky fest.
The photo that was posted at the begining looks like someeone overcooked a pizza.
Please tell me why it don't

This is what I said to scrounger

As they say the TRUTH hurts if YOU dont know how something works you find out before you make up some lies to try and back your claims!

LRO pics and resolution have been quoted on here MANY times so have IDIOTIC claims re google earth and the I can see my car clear group, thats from people who dont even understand how the images are TAKEN!!!.

The Chinese satellite has produced pictures that have a resolution of 7mtrs maybe the people who claim that is better than the LRO should find out what it actually means!!

While I agree that NASA should spend more on manned spaceflight, the relevant fact still remains that NASA's budget during the Apollo years was TWICE the budget in the years after Apollo (including today). That lack of money is one reason they haven't gone to the Moon.

NASA could not justify spending Money on further Moon missions
AND spend money on the shuttle program
AND spend money on the space station program
AND spend money sending robotic probes to Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (including Titan)

You would do a lot better as a NASA spokesman if you would drop the pompus attitude. Who needs that nonsense.
Dude the clue is right before everybodies eyes that choose to look. And look I certainly did. The pictures of a supposed landing site on the moon do not impress me as something that should make jump up and down with glee. Or get off like I am looking at a beutiful woman.
In my opinion if it is a landing site it could be done without the physical presence of men.
Now find someone else to be crude to.

Ah, here we go again: Moon Landing Hoaxers trolling a thread again.

I remember actually talking in person to someone that thought all the landings were hoaxed. I listened politely to what all he had to say about it, and about how he knew quite a lot about space and astronomy.

He was just about done, when he ended with:

"And another thing, them going on how 'cold' it is up there. Could you please tell me where this huge 'cold source' is?"

I think it was at that point I choked on my drink.
I thought very harshly how this guy was an idiot

BTW WMD This is the post I was refering to but thanks for taking the rap. Although explaining away this type thing just makes it worse so don't try. Please.

You are living in fantasy land.

Ever heard of Occam's Razor? You should apply that and see how silly you've sounded this entire thread. You moon hoaxers are hilarious!

You seem to be quite bitter about this subject

You keep on talking about not being impressed well with this image below lets give you some facts.

The top half is a STILL from the DAC used as Apollo 17 left the Moon, 40 years ago,the bottom half is from the LRO they match.

NASA has documentation of the positions of the equipment left by the astronauts we also have the pictures taken on the surface to confirm this!

The LRO has taken pictures that have a resolution of 60cm-25cm per pixel, now if you have photoshop or the free G.I.M.P photosoftware they have a measuring tool so you can measure the number of pixels across an object is or the number of pixels between objects and if you know the resolution of the picture you now can work out sizes

If you look at the LRO browser you can zoom in to see rocks and craters a couple of feet across now compare that to The Hubble pointing at the moon its resolution would be objects about 300 ft across.

If you can't understand photographic/digital imaging don't blame us BLAME YOURSELF!!!!

No please enlighten me and tell me how it applies to the pictures.
Or are they the fantasy land you refer to.
Is Occam's Razor a way of stereo typing people?

No Occam's Razor is a way to show how silly the numerous unfounded assumptions moon hoaxers make are. The moon hoax theory is based on assumptions, preconceived notions, circular logic, and a denial of reality.

Any evidence you are presented with is met with a barrage of excuses and "what ifs", and no images are ever "good enough."

I can show you plenty of images of the Apollo 11 landing site on the moon if you're looking for close up images. But no, those "are staged." This is because you have convinced yourself it is fake and are unable to process any facts you are given.

I would think you would want a picture that is farther away actually showing that it IS on the moon and NOT staged, but that's not good enough either, because it is all photoshopped and/or non existent robots made the tracks.

Simply, you are the people who think that life is one giant conspiracy and that everything is fake. You are delusional and are no longer able to draw the line between rational logic and fantasy.

Do you think someone could be bitter about two pictures that depict almost nothing.
Well I certainly am not.
I think all the techy talk is very impressive and I am here to learn as well as to promote the idea of 'Don't believe every thing you see".
Now my friend, stop being bitter with me. You need not shout BLAME YOURSELF!!!! at me.

Thanks for the reply and info,
I have to say that it cracks me up when I see folks use words like Circular Logic and Ignorant Logic. They truly are oxymorons.
And seem to fit well when used in a theory as you describe above.
That little ditty is a cat chasing it's tail.
Now if you are a logical dude or dudett, please tell me why you are so fond of the pictures and why you have a need to lable me a Hoaxer.
