Blocking Messages

Not sure where to put this, but is there any way to block messages from admin or whoever sends the ATS:Recap message?

Awesome question. I was just wondering that myself this morning. Wish there was a way to block the video images on the sidebar as well for the daily recap. Get kind of tired of that guy staring at me all the time. Kind of feel like I'm constantly being watched while I peruse the recent posts.
