Why Are Their So Many Stupid People?

It looks like the NWO will get their pick again. Romney or Obama. I am considering putting up signs Vote for Obamney Keep the Status Quo... With the internet its easy to see these people are liars and continue to advance the same agenda bush obama romney it doesn't matter so why do so many apparently believe what they say when they have been caught in so many lies already its not even funny?

I constantly tell myself there can't be that many stupid people. Maybe I am just being naive but I don't believe that many people are that stupid. I believe it is a conspiracy to dumb down the masses with fluoride in the waters and foods, GMO foods, and chemically enhanced and highly processed foods, big pharma, a general lack of nutrition, vaccines, and slow poisoning etc. It has bred a largely docile nation easily led by the nose where ever they are told to go.

Also voter fraud there is plenty of hard evidence but no one cares and they all file out to the polls/caucuses thinking they are participating in something significant and historical when it is all a big hollywood style production and nothing more. Then constantly pounded with media programming, I'd say they have pretty much perfected brain washing where it's done subtly over time and few have any clue whats happened.

That's the only thing that makes any sense IMO why the majority of people would put up with this crap and even support it and endorse it unknowingly. it reminds me of a movie (I can't remember the name) where all of society was on a drug called Soma so no one resisted or rebelled except a very few and they either escaped to the badlands or were medically reprogrammed.

I saw a news spot tonight complaining about people on sites like craigslist advertising to do work for people everything from computer repair to yard work and how businesses thought they were stealing because they are not licensed and not paying taxes. Idiots! They don't even know where their taxes go and those people pay taxes like gas and sales etc. even if they are not paying the state directly through licenses and fees and income taxes. If they manage to keep the state from getting a few bucks by working under the table more power too them! Maybe if these idiots would quit supporting the politicians who have sold us out to the Banksters and special interests there would be more Jobs and people would not have to do that as much.

I was out of work for two straight years I finally got a job last month and was laid off again after a month and half for lack of work... So I am one of those guys advertising to do work for people. And these idiots are complaining about guys like me competing with their business this way instead of the damn politicians who created this economic mess. What ever happened to working on reputation instead of thinking government is protecting you from fraud? Licensing does not prevent shady and shoddy work. It just brings in more revenue to government to use for more corruption.

Why do I need a majority to agree with me to be free? If I am not harming anyone then leave me the hell alone. But the sheeple are programmed to think everyone must conform to the government mandated norm (which generates revenue mainly)... Sigh!

Unfortunately for all of us all the Soma folks are going to get a rude awakening when it all crashes and burns. Or maybe not maybe they will just be herded into the camps etc to serve the elite without the false pretense of freedom anymore and remain none the wiser with all the chemical visual and audio programming they have already received...

Things are a mess out there folks and its going to come to head sooner or later especially with all the induced stupidity... most likely sooner then later...

The conspiracy to keep people stupid is a long maintained system that has been firmly in place since time immemorial. Sure, there are spurts of renaissance movements through history, but for every enlightened age, there are long bouts of dark ages, and for every Descartes there comes along a Kant who just cant stand the idea of pure reason used as a method of observation and data processing. The shamans of chaos and priest class sects of mystical nonsense are always at war with knowledge itself, foolishly believing they can suppress the truth itself.

The truth cannot be suppressed, but its reach can be limited to only those willing to seek it. More importantly, the truth itself can be smeared and plausibly sold as propaganda to be skeptical of. Where mythologies, those tales of inspiration of origins and hero's, have stayed with humanity since time immemorial, and have done so because deep within the core of these fanciful tales are life lessons that get to the heart of truth, and yet today, we use the word myth to be equated with falsehood. We use this word in this context to the point of ad nauseum, and we do so not as a massive agreement to conspire to undermine the word myth, we do this because like some sort of Pavlovian dog like response we embrace memes carefully planted within our lexicon and readily accept bastardized definitions of words.

Take the word selfish, generally defined in today's dictionaries as being a chief concern for ones own interest, especially with disregard for others. This definition is nonsensical. A paradox, a contradiction! We only need to observe the most anti-social hermit or misanthrope to understand that disregard for others is not at all in our best interest, thus not at all a selfish act. But hey, who's sweating the small stuff like reason and logic, the point isn't that the definition makes sense, the point is that when we accuse someone else of being selfish they know what we mean and what we mean is they're not behaving in the way we expect them to and until they acquiesce to our demands, they're just being selfish, that's the point, and it may be a stupid one, but hey...at least its a point.

We spend public money to build indoctrination centers that are essentially models designed to prepare children for an adulthood spent as laborers of some sort or another in an industrial age paradigm. Never mind that the industrial age, for America at least, is long over. This is the model we keep in place while we continue to radically change how subjects are taught, and these changes always have the effect of social engineering. We pay, with public money, teachers to indoctrinate our children with bogus ideas. In spite of a Constitution that guarantees each state a republic, we teach our children that America has the responsibility of "keeping the world safe for democracy".

In spite of the expressly prohibitive language of the Bill of Rights, prohibiting government from denying and/or disparaging certain rights, we teach our children that the government granted us these rights and we are a free people because we can freely elect our representatives to government. We simplify it with aphorisms and axiomatic cutesieness by declaring; "One man, one vote equals freedom" and to emphasize the power we have; "Throw the bums out!" and we carefully train our children to understand that outside of the power to vote, We the People really have no power. We surrendered that - we pay public funds to public teachers to convince our children - power when we elected our government officials and gave it to them. So, if you don't like it if government has denied your rights then vote them out of office, but this is a democracy and as long as the majority wants to keep trampling all over your rights this is the way it works in a free society.

We are, in short, paying public schools - and using the awesome force of the state to coerce private schools to adopt the same or similar propaganda curriculum - to indoctrinate our children with idealism designed to socially engineer an acquiescent populace. In the public schools where business economics are taught, how many of these tax supported teachers taught their students how to file a valid tax return without even hinting at the idea of liability and who is or is not subject to the tax and what the subject of the tax actually is. These students are taught to - without question - assess their liability and file a valid tax return. These people do as do so many others who were taught the same principles - which is to say don't question the tax in any way and just admit that you owe a tax and pay the damned tax and be grateful for living in a land where you are free to elect your own leaders.

These are just a few examples that can only represent the very tip of a tip of an iceberg that is the conspiracy to sell stupidity as a virtue and a path to the coveted and necessary credentials that show that you are well informed.

Good post JPZ and it goes hand and hand with my, OP. I felt that in the past people often just did not have the power to free themselves even though they were more prone to revolt it seems. Today in an age of information where people have more access to how their being screwed then anytime in history technology is also being used to keep them stupid and docile via the things I mentioned above... So it seems the societal norm is to go along to get along and even those that recognize we are being screwed blued and tatooed find it extremely difficult to change things even on a local level since they are forced in to the endless stream of zombie society so to speak...

jpz...a representative government in america was set up to counter a government run by the wealthy and powerful. in europe at the time of the formation of america, the wealthy ran the governments, whether it was the "king", the "aristocracy", or the "church". all were wealthy at that time, that is where the battle was then, and subsequently where it is being played out now. the wealthy decide how our government is run. case in point is where the wealthy invest their money. they support anyone and anything that keeps their wealth intact or is inclined to increase it. the wealthy do not care about any type of social or cultural dogma, so long as the above is followed. around the world, the wealthy live and work under all types of political governments, dictators, religous regimes, republics, socialists as well as facists, all with the same goal of protecting and/or increasing their wealth.

this is why the "divide and conquer" axiom is so important to them. if people are argueing and taking sides on social and cultural issues, they leave the wealthy alone. so it is imperative that the wealthy constantly keep these divisions alive, whether it's through corporate owned TV, newspapers, internet, or any other type of media currently being used.
the wealthy ONLY care about the "people" taking away their wealth, not the problems commonly associated with the poor or the middle class.
if by chance, the wealthy can make money on solving social issues, they will support it, if not, they will defeat it. i have arrived at this conclusion not by any type of propaganda generated, but by the laws, policies, and dictates put into place around the world, no matter what particular "isms" are practiced in individual countries.

I think the media is lying and candidates like Romney and Obama are being propped up and supported by special interest groups.

Its a trickle-down effect,from parents to children-kids are left to watch TV,for instance,for hours on end,and they watch,for lack of inspiration,what most of their friend's watch-The Kardashians,Empty-Vee,The Bachelor/ette,all this risible nonsense..The parents, are usualy both at work,running on the hamster-wheel,to afford the luxuries they have been taught they need to be happy.

Solution(in my case,anyway) Opt out of the "Rat Race"..Also,realise that any animal can give birth,its not a fine artform.Being a parent,is a sacred duty-YOU SHAPE ONE LIFE,YOU SHAPE THE LIVES OF GENERATIONS.

For instance,since my kids were small,and they got understanding of the simplest concepts in their little heads,i would guide their TV watching-NatGeo,Animal Planet,Documentaries,about history,science,nature,the cosmos.Adjusting the level of "difficulty" so as to speak,as they grew older and could understand more..There are a lot of doccies,showing the "fun" and interesting side,of most "serious" subjects like science+history,these past few years these subjects realy came on TV alive,if kids cared to watch it,plus awesome CGI special effects to keep them riveted.My son loves to watch Mr.Maker on BBC,cus it teaches kids creativity,to make something cute out of plain everyday items,dinosaur doccies,animals and nature.He is 5,and i can tell you now,you will most likely have a much more intelligent conversation with him,than with an adult watcher of Jerry Springer,Kardashians,Kendra+other "reality shows".

It takes much time,it takes much effort,but it works.The "shallowest" TV shows my teenager will watch,are cookery shows.Nothing below that level computes-because she's been raised with an aversion to stupid,shallow s@#t.
If you are awake.teach your kids,teach your grandchildren,spend lots of time with them-also about character and morals and about what REALY makes a person "Cool"-kindness,compassion,helpfulness, a strong character,having more than 2 braincells etc. as opposed to "Lookin good, got all the latest s@%t, im so hip cus i got a dress almost like that one worn by Paris Hilton" type of hogwash that passes as admirable traits these days.

We are surrounded by them they are the reason democracy/mob rules does not work. The majority of the mob are stupid and keep voting for their own demise and we have to suffer for it. That is the legacy of democracy: As James Madison said: Democracy is the right of the people to choose their own tyrants.

I don't know. I am one of the stupid people. To be serious there are very few stupid people, mostly it is ignorance. Ignorance is curable. Ignorance is not a dirty word. Once information is given and digested, one is no longer ignorant. The issue is that many do not desire the information, but rather treasure their ignorance. Which is what you said. Under my name in the dictionary it either says redundant, or answers rhetorical questions.

There is a conspiracy or society change going on. I know first hand.

I am mocked all the time for "knowing useless information" and for "thinking too much".

It is as if I am being pressured into being not smart.

Sometimes I have to pretend to share others dull self uneducated unthinking ways .

Something is going on.

God I haven't felt this negative in a long time... Just so sick of all the idiots thinking they have a right to vote on every aspect of my life. Intellectually I know it is stupid and reckless but I just want it all to crash and burn so a lot of the stupid people will just die...
