I remember one night i was alone in my recently deceased grandmothers house, she died when she was ninety years old.I was sleeping while sitting up in a living room chair that was facing a tall window, with the light on in the room and it was dark outside...

I was suddenly awakened by a tapping and scratching against glass sound and as i opened my eyes,i was horrified to see lit up by the chair side lamp light,my deaceased grandmothers entire body slowly hoovering up and down looking through the window at me,her toothless mouth was open wide as if she was moaning, while looking at me with enraged demonic eyes...

As i was about to faint from the almost indescribable terror of seeing her that way,her animated corpse drifted upwards out of my sight,as if taken away by the wind...

She had just died about two weeks earlier and when i saw her through the glass that night, she was dressed in her burial clothes, only they were stained with blood and dirt as if she had just crawled out of her grave, she wasnt wearing any shoes and she had withered petals from her funeral flowers tangled up in her grey hair...

I dont think i was ever more frightened than i was that night at that moment,i didnt dare to even move for at least an hour and i couldnt wait for the sun to rise...

Blood? Doesn't it all get pumped out and replaced with embalming fluid?

I think you just had a bad dream.

Dang!! That would have made me run and keep running.

Have you seen her any since that incident?

Not if she was a vampire and her stomach and mouth were filled with the blood of some person or animal that she just gorged herself with and spilled some of it on her clothes...

The terror i felt is hard to describe and no i never "saw" her again, but years later i answered the ringing phone, only to hear what i believe were demons imitating my long dead grandmothers voice and she sounded furious and vengeful and she knew it was me on the other end of the phone, although i never said a word, because she proceded to scream my name like some kind of enraged monster,i was so horrified that i could not speak...

That's just a joke right? I mean, you don't expect anyone to believe that your grandma died and came back as a vampire, right?

I ask because it's hard to tell sometimes what people are joking about or if they really believe such things....
Or if they are just trying to pull over a really bad one on people.....

I once had a very realistic and extremely creepy dream about a deceased grandparent. Afterwards, with not knowing what else to think, I assumed that some people just change--not for the better--after they die. Some say that negative entities may falsely take on the appearance of someone we knew in life--presumably, to mess with us. I'm not really sure what to think.

Believe it or not, there were real professional vampire hunters employed here in new england right up into the early 20th century and old graves in new england have been opened by accident and by design and the skeletons within actually had wooden stakes driven into their chests...These things were not invented in hollywood...New England Vampires > crazyhorsesghost.hubpages.com...

What you said in this post is incredibly interesting to me, because it reminds me of my dream. In the dream I had of my deceased grandmother, she initially looked glad to see me. However, her gaze quickly turned, without warning, to an anger and malicious hatred that is difficult to articulate. There was pure hell in her gaze.

Yes exactly!...I had nothing but a friendly and loving relationship with my grandmother, but when i saw her,or something that was imitating her,she was beyond angry, she was enraged with evil hatred and she was looking right at me with the eyes of a werewolf, like the eyes of the posessed girl in the exorcist, like piercing daggers of anguished menace, thats the best way i can describe how she looked, its almost like she was trying to tear my soul out of my body...Damn...

I would say I have had three incidents. My first one was when my brother passed away. Right before we got the call that he had died, my little brother and I saw him sitting on his bed. We ran out of their fast because we knew he was in ICU.

The second one was a dream but real vivid. My friends dad had passed away and I dreamed he was in the casket around this red light and when I went to look at him, he grabbed my arm and told me that I had to go with him. He just kept tugging trying to take me with him. Woke up in a heap of sweat.

The last incident was when I was in a foxhole and looked up toward the sky and saw an image of my dad. Later I found out that he had back surgery and the hospital had given him an overdose of medication and had to resuscitate him.

I can't imagine how you've dealt with your experiences. The dream I had was so very real, and so disturbing, that even now, years later, it still bothers me. It was, however, a dream. You had a waking vision, not to mention that deranged phone call. What do you think can explain these things? Has anyone ever given you any plausible explanation?

With a name like blocula, and you talking vampires, I think you are pulling our leg. I'll hand it to, you know how to paint a creepy picture.

This was a pretty common nightmare for many children born in the seventies! It was brought on by repeated viewings of the movie Salems Lot, lol! Sounds pretty creepy but most likely a pretty vivid nightmare.

Most people who i've told refuse to believe me,which makes dealing with what i know to be true, all the harder,i'm scaring myself right now as i type just thinking about how she looked,so you can imagine how i felt when i saw her through the glass and was expecting her to crash through it towards me,i was literally paralyzed with fear...

The time i heard her angry voice screaming my name on the land line phone, whatever or whoever it was "knew where i was" "knew my name" "knew how to manipulate our phones internal mechanisms to make it ring" and "it was exactly my grandmothers voice" there were a couple of other people with me when i answered that call and i ended up throwing the phone across the room and it landed near them "and they heard her as well"...

Believe it or not

We also used to believe the earth was the center of the universe.

Vlad The Impaler. A real man.Not a vampire. Just a cruel man who tortured many people. He was finally imprisoned and held in his own castle. The origins of vampire STORIES are traced back to him....

Those stakes? Symbolic of the impaling that Vlad did... History.,more factual than myth...

Just because people hunted for them did not mean they were real and it is silly of you to even try and suggest that. People also used to slavery was a good thing...Doesn't make it so. ;

Your grandmother is not a vampire. To be honest, I suspect that you don't think she is either.I suspect you are trying to have a go.... Feel free to address this....

There are no vampires.

www.vladtheimpaler.com...
www.donlinke.com...
en.wikipedia.org...

Again, your grandmother is not a vampire. But I think you know that, don't you?

History itself is the debunker and all you have to do is read about Vlad the Impaler.

But hey, if you have any evidence...at all...that your grandmother came back from the dead and is now a vampire.... other than a flimsy word and misunderstanding of history.....

The vampire bit is just him struggling to make sense of experiences that make absolutely no sense. I don't really feel that he's lying about what he claims to have experienced. If you or I seen what he seen, then who knows, maybe we would entertain a vampire-esque explanation ourselves.

Was your dream really a dream? or was it a lucid vision while you were partially awake? or was your grandparent really there? and did you ever see or hear her/him again?
