The video from March the 13th, and here is the enhanced image of the object in question.

A balloon has been ruled out, since it changes shape, has onboard lights and what looks like little windows.

To me it looks like a radio controlled toy though, but i am not sure.

Opinions please.

Ruled out by who ?
To me it looks like a bunch of silver Mylar balloons , the lights appear to stay in the same location as the balloons move giving me the impression they are just light reflections from the Sun .

According to the article, the one's who did the "analysis" its been ruled out.
I tend to agree with you, and i still think its possibly an radio controlled toy.

I have not seen a Mylar balloon with little windows.

You want opinions? I will give you the real information of this footage.

It's not from Mexico City but from San Jose California. The real date is not
February 2012 but April 1, 2011. The real videographer is a guy using the
nickname yfall2010. For some reason he uploaded the video but replaced
the original audio with an awful music, check the original.

Later in August 9, 2011 yfall2010 decided to upload again the footage but with
the original audio, maybe he received some requests.

You may want to discuss this footage with yfall2012, this is his channel.
www.youtube.com...

If you still have doubts check these comparisons.

What makes it even worse is that dude is a typical "youtube superstar"....when you check his/her/its channel you quickly see the kind of mentality we're dealing with.

Just another sad but real reminder of the overwhelming ignorance that makes all of us look like morons by association.

The real issue here isn't the idiot's youtube channel, nor the video that gets parroted over and over....it's the sad fact that these things happen because of the audience we gleefully give it.

It's faker than a Broadway Rolex because you cannot have "smooth" camera shake when it's zoomed in that much and yout holding it in your hands. When it's zoomed in that much and your holding it the real camera shake would look nothing like that but the artificial one he put in has the same bevelled motions. The movement to recreate that at that zoom in would be miniscule and very subtle and that's not possible when holding it in your hands, in reality it would be more more "violent jerky" than a poorly maintained fairground ride at that zoom.

He should have a better attempt at the software next time if he wants something more convincing instead of using random camera shake algorithms.

That's because you are watching the slow motion copy of the original footage by yfall2010.
This guy made this slow motion version and was copied by the other user ufopolis recently
changing the title, the location, the date, the audio causing a big confusion.

Check the original video in real speed that I posted and you will see the movements of the
bunch of Balloons in real time. Here you can see the slow motion version that I told you.
