Good post and I really appreciate all the work put into this!

I also agree with you that they're either escaping the collapse, or are finally getting booted for their inexcusable actions. I want to believe there's someone or something behind this trying to fix this system.

I can prove neither, so I will sit back and pay attention and look for the facts

Someone brought a post from anonymoos about bankers getting arrested or sometin like that? Also... sure their clepto ride is winding down. They have all the money mostly right? So it's time to get while the getting is good?

And I won't be moving to Paraguay if Bush is.

Thanks for keeping this information updated, it is really is interesting watching all this go on. As was stated earlier, it is quite possible that some (although I doubt all) off these resignations are just natural occurrences, however so many is very weird.

It would be useful to know how many, if any, have gone on to other positions, just moved to other banks, changed jobs as it were. If none of them have, then it really does start to look suspicious

Maybe they have insider knowledge that the S is gonna hit the F real soon, and so they are going underground? Like underground bunker type underground. Scandal and corruption seems more plausible though

My BIG question would be, if they are retiring (the ones that are anyway or stepping down), where are they retiring to? Might be an idea to buy some land wherever that might be LOL. Bush bought 100k acres in Paraguay?

Cheers - Dave

And I believe James Cameron bought 100 acres of farmland in NZ

Curiously both locations in the southern hemisphere. Maybe a big rock is going to smack the earth in the northern hemisphere?

Highly speculative, I know.

-rrr

This is getting old, fast. Do you really need to post four separate threads on the same ##SNIPPED## topic?

I can't believe that so much can be said about something so stupid as resigning bankers. Only so many words can be stated on the topic...

Seriously, overkill much? Stop rehashing.

You serious?

This has to do with one of the largest control systems (financial) on Earth and you are sick of it?

Shame.

None of us knows a dang thing about what's going on over there. We are speculating, but we have no solid answers.

So what's the point? Gives you something to gossip about?

Let's see statistics from the past about banker resignations before we jump to a conclusion.

I'm sure that they happen every year.

Wealthy British banker and his wife are killed on holiday by carbon monoxide poisoning

Well, just noticed this. It's for yesterday, a wealthy banker has been found dead, poisoned by carbon dioxyde. Suicide, accident, murder???

Once again...timely.

So some of you would think this couple really died on accident?

That was about a week ago..... MSM isn't helping shed any light on what's really going on....

Even if we have no control over what's happening ....the information is still useful ....even if it's just preparing us mentally for something ahead.

I must say that almost every thread/topic in here turns out the reason we dont have the truth is because of the media blacking out stuff that is too "sensitive" for the masses to know about. It seems to me that the Occupy Movement may have been a big part of what has blown all of this stuff up. Of course the media has made a big joke out of the movement in an attempt to derail it before it got too big. Shows me they are afraid and are unable to protect the greedy bankster types anymore. If occupy was able to shake things up this well, then maybe it is time to ramp it up. Maybe we need to occupy everywhere, every where a news camera or reporter may show up. OCCUPY THE MEDIA!!!!!!!! Any sporting event any broadway show any red carpet event buy billboards [I got $100 to chip in] ad space. Make the sleeping split their attention between the real and subliminal messages. You can only fight a dirty fighter by fighting just as dirty. They are starting to crack and all we gotta do is keep the pressure on. I invision a three prong assult. OCCUPY Wall Street,OCCUPY Washington and OCCUPY the Minds of all freedom seeking Americans. Sorry I didnt mean to tuirn this into any occupy thread. Iam not a member of the movement but reading this thread gave me an epiphany of sorts and I had to release it.

i would say the main reason for the many threads would be to update the information. if there were a better way to put updates on the first page of the OP then i'd say this is rehashing, but considering to update you would have bury the information deep in the thread. i think it would be better for those interested to start a new thread.

as for the OP this is starting to get crazy. really makes alarms go off in my head. considering i don't trust anything i automatically assume the worst. which is that the boat is heading for an iceberg and only those steering the boat can see it coming so they're jumping in the life boats before it crashes.

I know this will sound insane but I think the 1% has started getting their houses in order, so to speak. I think the big move to a safe haven is underway, whether it be underground or giant ships, like the movie 2012. No one can deny the fact huge bunkers exist, with seeds and who knows what else. If TPTB are THAT paranoid I would hate to know what They know.

Fed Reserve audit year is 2013: They are trying to pull that one world gov crap as a last ditch effort, before these nasty, old, fat f@$ks get caught for their fraud. All that money on surveillance and security - these people have no ones interests but their own in mind. I have a feeling this was a planned set up by the real powers! And will replace each one with an even more deep routed crook. What can we expect? Well nothing, until the US defaults their debt...this is the same country that gave Bush another term, so I don't expect much collectively from any of you.

Ps - Is the MSM allergic to covering stories that matter?? Cant stand those cowards.

I posted alluding to exactly what you do above in the previous thread but was completely ignored as people would rather create a big conspiracy over this rather accept the much less spectacular truth.

This isn't part of any conspiracy. I work in finance and it is very typical for resignations to come in this time of the year (right after bonuses are paid). This year there have been a larger number of departures from US banks given cutbacks in pay and bonuses but this is something that happens every single year.

Unfortunately I don't think data is available to specifically validate numbers by year. Might be able to find in old Google News searches. Issue is the topic has been highlighted alot more with banks coming under more scrutiny. GS has multiple partners retire every January/February but this is the first year I have seen actual articles about it.

This really is usual course of business in finance but is just receiving more coverage this year than normal given all the emphasis on banker pay, etc.

Is this normal for bankers and CEOs and whatnot to quit like this?

This seems rather crazy.

Wow, if you really think that, one might ask, "Why are you here, reading and posting then?"

That was a rhetorical question, "Farley."

On topic: Thanks, OP, for putting the list together. S&F because it's certainly worth keeping an eye on. I, too, think it's very telling that so many of the people who are leaving seem to be doing so under pressure, or in less-than-optimal exit circumstances.

So the inevitable question occurs: are the recent seizures of the fake bonds in Spain and Italy related to this latest round of bankster resignations? My guess, and it is only a guess, is yes.

My reasoning is somewhat byzantine, but hinges upon the idea that even if the recent seizures are indeed fake securities, they nonetheless represent a market for such things, implying that there may indeed be genuine versions of such securities floating around out there. In other words, whoever is responsible for the faked securities may be sending messages to the western financial elite, and that message may be, in part,

blackmail…

Here is another poster's view on this theory.
