Uh-oh

The results of the voting in the presidential elections at a polling station in the republic of Dagestan – where a webcam registered a case of alleged ballot-stuffing - will be annulled, Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has said.

Now question is will the opponents still cry foul and stand and protest like idiots. Cameras were in each polling station along with international observers. No need to waster time now better get back to work.

Too right not very surprising.

Yep, no surprise there.

Since we're coming up on the end of the world, we need to make sure that all the corrupted ego-maniacs are in their places, so WWIII can kick it off.

It's got term limits - you're only allowed 2 consecutive terms as Pres......each time!!

Something tells me he wasn't very suprised he won.

I guess it's not as exciting when you cheat!

That's probably why deep down, Romney doesn't feel very exhilirated considering it's business as usual.

There term limits are similar to ours, cept they changed there's to be 6 years per term but yea, he served two terms as president then was PM, now pres again. nothing crazy about that, george bush could run again if he wanted to

so didnt he create the prime minister position that he filled? i am not sure if i remember correctly but i thought that is what happened. i think he has been in power for a long time. it is just the term "president" that has changed.
Does anyone else think it is weird that there was lenin, then stalin, now putin? I may not be familiar with russian surnames, is that common?

To make the story short, for all the fuss of rigged vote and mass hysteria in the west. Logically looking at the chart of candidates one can easily deduct who is going to be the winner without even having to go through elections.
1.Mikhail Prohorov is an oligarch , now how many would go vote for a super rich ? Well i surely wouldn't
2. Genadi Zuganov a Communist, neither the Russians nor the West want the communism back.
3. Vladimir Zirinovsky apart from being a clown and screaming insults to national TV, giving him power is like starting a new cold war the guy is mentally unstable.
4. Sergei Mironov a guy who doesnt look strong in will and always ranking last.
Then we have Putin, who for the past 10 years, put Russia back to its track, his achievements are beyond excellent of the mess he had to clean after 90s.

So no matter how much the west hates it and hysterically brainwashes its people to create a negative image of Putin. The result will be the same. Putin is a national hero.

Well said. I don't understand the surprise for the result. But of course it's the same reaction every time when a leader that doesn't agree to be a lap dog for US is elected any part of world.
