i'm not even a CGI enthusiast... only having done a few photoshop pieces myself and hardly ever paying close attention to scrutinize others work, this just completely sticks out.

As being CGI?..

Now, i'm not saying they didn't use a puppet... because the lighting on the creature itself is not bad and looks like an actual object rather than artwork and matches good enough for it to possibly actually be in those bushes at SOME point in time, just not while those dogs are there, but that is not hard to accomplish in editing either...

This would require use of some CGI and some clever editing. Multiple objects in the same frame = not easy. Would be easily done in one take with the dogs and prop alien instead.

Based on the above I could only jump to the conclusion you believed CGI was a part of this.

You can be as rude and insulting as you like, your only doing harm to your own reputation. I'm just trying to open peoples eyes to what CGI really is and how it is implemented into video. Certainly not like this.

If someone shoots a creature like that the next step will be to record video of the creature dead, who could take video at the same time as he shot an alien and then stop recording.

Having a recording of an alien dead would be worth thousands of dollars for any tv station.

well i dont know about making movies or this cgi or what ever it is ...lo.l...but i did look at it on a stop and go type of way...well first i know aliens dont go after any live stock to kill and eat or dogs..maybe to beem up...lol...but this is a very different kind of creature..now this is what i found which i believe all have found quicker then my self and have the capabilities to search more than i do...the abject (alien ) looks great..even real to me..the movement looks great...looks natural to me big time...i followed it very slowly as the dogs attacked it and the mouth did in fact open..

But a puppet or some kind of maniacal doll could probably do the same..Now when the gun fired the alien did go backwards very hard and fast...but my problem is where is the blood for one....2...where is the noise of the creature(alien)..now if you were being attacked you would have noised like screaming or what ever...lol...

No blood is my main thing ....voodoo can do many things for sure....but if the creature is to be real,,then i would expect blood..Especially since the camera is so so close up...now at 0:59 and 1:00 in the vid i can see the aliens face...still very clean with no blood...(1) after being shot...(2) and being attacked by the dogs....

At 1"00 on the video I can see the dog shaking the alien very very hard like a toy or a doll...still no blood...This is one of the best hoaxes i have seen yet...It looked very real to me...Unless the alien was already dead and had no blood,,and was moveable due to voodoo..i would call this debunked...

ooops,,,now if the alien dies quickly due to the gun shot then there would be no sounds of the alien.....lol..where is my brain..lol...also the gun sounds like a shot gun...Now i have a 20 gauge winchester shot gun..

And im going to tell ya that if i would soot something so small as that alien..it would of exploded.....and that is of a small 20 gauge shot gun...its a fake but a good one...no blood is the kkey for me...

Everyone always demands some kind of proof, pictures, videos, physical evidence, etc, and anytime anyone brings a photo or video, it's immediately written off as a hoax. The first few comments of this thread, without any kind of reasoning or logic, just say "this is cgi" the end. People ask for proof and anytime anyone presents anything potentially worth while, it's never given a chance

I wonder how many true bonified videos and photos exist out there, that are actual true evidence, that have been shot down and ripped apart by the very same people who demand proof. Indeed some lots of videos are hoaxes, but I know, from personal experiance, that some of those videos are real and need to be given a chance.

Instead of adding comment after comment saying, cgi cgi cgi cgi this is cgi this is fake, tell us why, give us a reason you think it's cgi other than "I think" or "well it looks like cgi" shadows? Lighting? ANYTHING

"I think" all kinds of crap, doesn't make it true.

(of corse not everyone is doing this, so please don't jump down my throat anyone, I won't respond to it anyways)

too bad he didn't record the aftermath like the alien lying there trying to breathe or something, because now it's just an inconclusive video. Could be faked and superimposed a dragonfly alien over a wild pig

No body, no evidence.
As said 1200 times already, since there is no alien shown afterwards..it is clearly a fake..doesn't even matter how it was done.

Well if you go to the thirdphaseofmoon channel, you will find quite a lot of manipulated video content.
eg. Airial footage that is played in reverse in order for it look like a UFO, here.
There is the possibilty of foul play in the alien vid, but there is that factor of realism to it.
Also the presenter is quite the character, and this does not help his credibility.

Looks a lot like maybe a wild pig hunt or some other small varmint. There are only a few frames of the thing shown. Relatively easy to paste in a blurry chupacabra thing.

No body? No bones? The dogs ate my homework!

what in the world does that have to do with the price of rice in china?

i am no CGI enthusiast. I do believe the OP called on CGI enthusiast.. or someone did. i was merely saying i wasn't one. MANNNN you are desperate. You're ego must be so sunk today that you are just clinging on to ANYTHING to get a one up.

and no, nothing in that paragraph suggests i thought CGI was used as i was leaning toward a puppet or object with some editing of frames to remove the actual animal he shot and place the puppet... because i do believe he shot something and the dogs were actually attacking something. my opinion was that they conveniently took a hunting video of a kill and then went back afterward and set said puppet or object in place leaving camera unmoved and then took the frames of the puppet and overlapped it or cloned it onto existing frames.

actually, i think i could have done a better job... and just using photoshop and flash.

i don't care what you think of my attitude because i'm DONE tolerating ego suckers like you who like to try to talk all sweet and nice while sticking you in the ribs.

You have become OBSESSED with this and it's clear you have an issue with an insecure ego that constantly needs to "nicely" put others down in various insidious ways to make themselves feel better and more egotistically secure.

this video is complete crap like I have stated other than a cool looking puppet.

I'm honestly starting to think you DID make it and are just disappointed. as for reputation, i'd much rather people think i was rude to someone who just can't let something that threatens their ego go and needs to talk down and be condescending because they are such an expert and all... than leave them with the impression that they could do the same and walk right across my face like it's a doormat. people need to know the truth and the truth... i'm tired of this crap and people like you. take a hike bubba, you're not worrying me one bit!

I was convinced it's a fake ..

Until I heard the alien-like sound the alien made when it came out of the bush.

Now I think it's real.

I've attempted to explain why this is not CGI but it just seems to fall on deaf ears as people would rather believe what they wish..

Looking around the UFO forum I can see now that every sceptical member throws the words CGI around without really knowing what CGI is, how it's created and most importantly how it is implemented into videos. There are tell tale signs to CGI that makes it stick out like a sore thumb to the trained eye.

When I finally hit the 20 post mark I’m going to make a thread detailing how CGI is used and how to identify it. Ironically for UFO believers, you can actually reverse engineer composite CGI's.

Well then i must have mis-interpreted you or the post you originally quoted. Either way there's no need to get personal over this as i have at no point directed aggression or anything of the sort towards you. Clearly you have trouble dealing with criticism, so I’ll let it slide.

Your entitled to your opinion but you do realise that would mean creating masks, chromas, tweening and paths for over 300 frames of footage? That's just painful for the very poor results seen here...

actually, i think i could have done a better job... and just using photoshop and flash.

Yeah, right. Best of luck with that.

Caught me red handed now, shucks! I really must stop trying to point people in the right direction.. C'mon, get real.

then he should have filmed the body laying there...

any explanation as to why you think he forgot how easy it would be to just walk over there and film possibly the only true footage of an alien on the net?

also, boy he sure did have that camera and stand ready, did he not?

He knew the exact spot it would come out when it was still in the bushes.
how did he know it was going to go there?

CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP

I give this video five craps and five lols to go with those five craps.

Is that video from an episode of the Muppet Show?
If so, their quality has declined.

How cool your typical video camera carrying Columbian farmer just happened to be there, with his camera person. I'm 100% convinced now, OH MY GOD...... oh my god, ohmygod. And of course the dogs ate it all gone, so there was no evidence. yup.

So do you need a license to hunt monsters? What kind of gun? Can you use a bow?

I'm so there!

What is up with those dogs?
It sounded like that one got bit or scratched.

I don't think I would let my dog eat alien meat.

I want to believe, I really do, but why is there no footage after the shot? I really want to see it on the ground. The thing that is interesting to me is the dogs were definitely spooked. I am a bird hunter, I have 2 black labs that hunt with me just about every weekend. It could be cgi, I'm no video expert, but it's interesting to say the least.
I'm always very skeptical because there are far too many hoaxsters in this world, that want there one minute of fame.

Agreed, as I've stated in my post above...The first thing any rational person would do is get more footage of the creature after shooting it...This is what screams hoax to me...

I'm sure it's probably pretty good for them. Lots of good protein and essential minerals, including Element 115. After all, from what I understand Pedigree dog food is approximately 35 percent alien meat.
