Getting reports from alot of friends online confirming a meteor travelling over scotland.

Friends from aberdeen to glasgow confirming they have seen a large fireball.

Will try and see if I can get at least one of them who took a video !

Embedded for ya

OMG, Its Nibiru!
-gets an umbrella-

Pretty awesome sight, isn't it. Meteors freak me out when they get that close...always feels like they are about to hit.

if you see a crater in the ground with a rock in the center, see if a magnet sticks to it. Magnets stick to most meteors due to iron in them

naa, we just have more cameras readily available around the world

On any given day, the estimates are than the Earth intercepts about 19,000 meteorites weighing over 3.5 ounces, every year of which fewer than 10 are ever recovered. About 2800 meteorites are in museums from previous 'falls' and are chemically found to represent about 20 or so distinct parent-bodies. The Earth acquires about 100 tons per day of dust-sized micro- meteoroids.

If you didn't have the internet, you wouldn't be aware of every single particle of dust and golfball sized rock that comes in daily...but nothing unusual about it.
