Well you have not being in the south lately we have lots of children in poverty and in the care of the state.

Looks to me like welfare is not working for them.

Do you then agree that women should be denied pills to control birth in this country?

Marg (I LOVE your avatar!)

Perhaps some self control on the part of the people having the children
would be in order. The government can't hold the hands of everyone.
People have to be responsible and look at their situations. If they
can't afford 8 kids, they shouldn't have them. YES, it is possible not
to hump like rabbits. We have brains. People should use them and
not expect working Americans to keep picking up the tabs for the
mistakes of those who don't want to practice self control.

REF: The Pill. I would love to see every woman in America OFF the
pill. It wrecks their health. It isn't 'conception control' it's 'birth
control'. Big difference. I have some information here at home
that shows that the average woman on the pill actually conceives
a child twice a year, but then miscarries before she knows she is
pregnant. Conception twice a year ... on average. Also, the
makers of the main chemicals in The Pill, is the same chemical
company that supplied the gas to kill the Jews in the camps in
Nazi Germany.

I'm going to look for the information and I'll be back to post it here.
It's VERY interesting stuff - at least for women.

BTW - why are we talking about birth control as if it were only a
female subject? Condoms are readily available for guys and girls
at every corner drug store.

Thanks for the coment on the avatar.

I am so sorry again on going of the subject.

you know I was on birth control pill for 1o years and then I did not use anything 12 and I manage only two kids. So in my case it was different and not side effects form them either.

Yes I stop taking them because I got scare of side effects as you get older, but living for 12 years scare of becoming pregnat it was not funny.

Our society is not going to stop having sex and to many unwanted children we have to be carefull.

If people don't want abortions then something else have to be available.

Back on the subject,

I see this way, they have tried to smear Kerry, now the polls don't look like they are doing a good job, so let's tried the Terry aproach.

I think she rocks

Everything is just propaganda.

If you mean at Catholic hospitals... It is their RIGHT not to provide
birth control. It is against the Catholic religion. However, just because
it isn't provided at that particular hospital, that doesn't mean the
patient can't go down to the local pharmacy and get condoms, or
go to a different doctor or clinic and get a prescription for them.

Some folks love her. SOME.
Most don't like her at all.
She's not helping her husband.

I think Teresa Kerry would cause real problems as First Lady. Speaking your mind, if done properly, is a plus, but when you do it in an offensive and insulting manner it is a BIG negative. If she is First Lady who knows what she might say that would be insulting to foreign leaders. If John Kerry thinks that he can improve some of our International Relationships he better consider that his wife could undo any progress that he makes with just one off-the-cuff remark.

Terry Kerry has no idea how to speak her mind with dignity and class. Telling victims of the hurricane who have lost everthing to just run naked, calling people idiots and scumbags, etc. is NOT being a lady. I have no problem with people speaking their mind if they can do it in a constructive manner. Terry Kerry is downright rude and does not have an ounce of class or self restraint.

Actually Hillary was opinionated and her husband stayed for 8 years.

Until this day people still slam her for that.

I think it would be interesting to see Teresa, as first lady tell, heads of states that she disagrees with that to "shove it", or to refer to the President of France as a "scumbag" because he doesn't support Kerry's America, or countries who do not agree with Kerry's American plan as 'idiots". or maybe at a nice formal dinner in the white house she can tell everybody that she is "sexy and cheeky".

Honestly Hillary was outspoken but classy. This is too Leona Helmsley for my liking, I think it comes from being brought up in a colonialist country where you get to speak about the workers in front of them without considering their feelings. I think she might be surprised that Americans don't like being called idiots or scumbags, they may choose to vote for Bush to keep her out of the white house. It really is obvious that she runs the Kerry household, otherwise he would have told her a long time ago to just sit tight and play nicely untill after the election.

Wanna' bet that Terry Kerry would be surprised ...
but she wouldn't care about anyones feelings except her own?

While I never particulary cared for Hilary I did not have a problem with her being opinionated and outspoken. I might not have agreed with her point of view but I did not ever feel like she was attacking ME for my beliefs or that she was ever being intentionally disrespectful to those who had different opinions.

Terry Kerry, on the other hand, is disrespectful and almost malicious when speaking her opinion. Once again, in my opinion she has NO class and would NOT be a good First Lady or even an ACCEPTABLE First Lady.

Perhaps the reason some people feels so strong against her is because she is not american, she is of latina blood like me and I do have black ancesters too.

Yes I know were her temper and hot blood comes from.

I think it has to do with her nationality.

This statement is about as racist as I have heard for some time. This is just plain friggin ridiculous, and an insult.

TherAYsa is on the firing line NOT because of her nationality, but DIRECTLY as a result of THE GARBAGE THAT SPEWS OUT OF HER MOUTH.

That is downright insulting. I don't care if she is American or not! If she was born and raised in the U.S. it wouldn't make me any more tolerant of her disgusting behavior. I don't care what nationality she is, what color her skin is, or if she is from another planet. Her behavior is not acceptable no matter WHERE she comes from.

Do people honestly believe that because John Kerry's wife used the word "scumbag" that disqualifies him for public office? Dick Cheney used the f-word and the universe didn't collapse in on itself. Other politicans have cursed in public and the Constitution didn't spontaneously combust. Honestly, if hearing someone utter the word "scumbag" makes you faint and need smelling salts, perhaps a thicker skin is in order.

If you dislike John Kerry for his economic proposals, plan for Iraq, or his heathcare policy, let's bring that to the forefront of the public debate, but the implication that he is incompent because his wife has a colorful vocabulary is just another attempt to obscure the real issues. America, let's keep our eye on the ball.
