Strange lights in Vegas sky 3/2/12 right now

If you look at the mountain ridge line above the red traffic light to the right there appear to be towers right in the spot where the lights in question would have been. It looks like it could be lights on towers.

Then they need to stop moving those towers back and forth so fast at night.

I get that but who do I know from Adam that the two of you aren't just making this up? I don't make the rules. A guy I work with and some friends put led lights on their heads and walked across a roof line while someone filmed it with a phone. The guy blew up a still and called the town to report it and even after the guys admitted to it he didn't believe them. There are two daytime videos of a sphere giving birth to smaller spheres coming out it's sides that are as clear as day and taken 180 from each other and people still don't believe it. Are there any ufo videos besides your own that you believe are definitely strange and credible?

from the looks of the daytime video there could be people or just one person waving a 12' pvc pole and some blinking led lights standing on that wall next to the tree or quite more likely one of the roof lines in the background. It would definitely look like it was over or behind the mountains plus the low quality ambiguity (it's up to you to be nonchalant about not investing in a better camera) and what more can we say about it? Don't look for others to validate your claims, look for yourself.

Prior to this thread I cannot recall ever talking to BK on ATS. To the best of my knowledge we have never met. And frankly what people choose to believe or not believe is not within the bubble of my authority. Las Vegas has a bunch of lights. period. It's just that some of those lights were acting a lot differently to both the author of this thread who tried to get as decent of a video as he could, and my father. I don't think my father was lying, in fact he probably could not care less. I don't think the OP was lying either. He saw some lights that were doing things he had never seen before. He did his best to share it with us here on ATS. And for that I'm thankful. Made my evening a little more entertaining, got to talk to Pa, and also got a good laugh from my father.

I'm actually arguing the skeptic's conundrum that's why I say it's all about individual experiences. Who else can you trust? Who needs other people to validate this stuff? I'm just saying to BK congratulations on the sighting and if he wants people to continue to care about his experience any further he's going to need to get more footage. As you said Pop wasn't too impressed. he may already believe

We're cool bottleslingguy. I understand where you are coming from. I just wanted to clear the air about any rumors BK and I were somehow coordinating this. We sure weren't. I saw the thread pop up and read it. I know my dad has a great view of the whole valley, so I immediately called him up, not a minute after this thread popped up, and asked him to go take a look to the north and see if he sees, and I quote: "Dad, can you go outside and see if you see anything strange towards the north?"

His response was what was in my first post in this thread. I couldn't have posted it 5 minutes after the thread started. My dad was outside looking for maybe 2 minutes at most. I didn't even mention lights, ufos, sky,.. I just said anything strange towards the north.

he's probably used to the stories never going anywhere. My brother lives in the Tx panhandle and couldn't be bothered to take a camera out with him on a clear night. He tells me "I don't care what you show me, I won't believe it."

No, I couldnt. But that could have been because I was too far away..

Okay -- First, Nellis AFB has Red Flag going on. So you will see an increase in activity especially coming from the North and the North-West. (all public information on Nellis AFB public site by the by)

Since it is Red Flag, you will also be subjected to seeing "abnormal" types of craft coming and going not normally stationed at Nellis. From what I saw, they were all coming home at that hour and there were a lot of them.

Speculation would only lead me to think you saw a slew of jets (it is an air-air combat exercise that includes foreign nations also.)


Typical craft usually involved:

A typical RED FLAG exercise involves a variety of attack, fighter and bomber aircraft (F-15E, F-16, F/A-18, A-10, B-1, B-2, etc.), reconnaissance aircraft (Predator, Global Hawk, RC-135, U-2), electronic warfare aircraft (EC-130s, EA-6Bs and F-16CJs), air superiority aircraft (F-22, F-15C, etc), airlift support (C-130, C-17), search and rescue aircraft (HH-60, HC-130, CH-47), and aerial refueling aircraft (KC-130, KC-135, KC-10, etc). Command and Control aircraft (E-3, E-8C, E-2C, etc) play a significant role in the training by using their unique capabilities to monitor and support many aspects of the Blue force effort.

Yeah you are gonna see some odd lights. Good catch though!

We mentioned it may have been red flag earlier in the thread. The only problem we had with that was the direction. Some of these were going east and west. And the trajectory to land at nellis in the NE just did jive but we have mistaken

There were about 6-7 craft coming from the north landing on most likely 3R. There were also a multitude of craft approaching from the west being fed into their pattern. Though I didn't see any heading west except for craft local to North Las Vegas.

No problem, yeah that's probably the movie i'm refering to, i only saw it once when I was kid. I remember in the movie the guy was in a truck with two friends when they saw a bright light. One guy got out and walked towards the beam like he was in a trance then he disappeared. He woke up in cylindrical like shuttle, in thousands of compartments covered with this skin like film were human bodies many in some sort of stasis or dead, since there was 0 gravity the comparetments were stacke really high, he floated down and the aliens popped out and tied him down to experament. Thats about all I remember, my old man said it was a true story, even took me to the spot where it supposedly happened. It was pretty eerie to say the least.

The story has some legitimacy to it. The entire abduction sequence is Hollywood though.
