dear god thank you. this will become useful next time i ask my girlfiend how her day was.

If I had a spare thousand bucks and the time to do it, I'd patent this effect when used in conjunction with the 'other' LRAD-like technology, the one they were using for "directed advertising". That way you could beam someone's speech back to THEM, and no one else would hear it, much.

Of course this is going to come under extreme offense simply for the fact of what it does. It isn't harming you but its hacking your damn brain. Something is both very intriguing but wrong about this.

That's another interesting thought I understand the idea that modulation in our voice delayed would trick the brain into either speaking [modulating] or hearing back the speech/modulation...

However, what if a tune was sung into the mic, with no modulation at all, it would be delayed but the tone would essentially stay flat so the brain wouldn't pick up any modulation to trick the brain into trying to hear instead of speak.

This is just crazy!

I bet every married person or parent of a teenager who saw this was ready to bust out a credit card and place an order.

All kidding aside can you imagine if this technology was used not on a single person but on a group of people. Scary daze people!

Next time you make a thread you might want to follow the T&C of ATS. I'm sure you can find a thread of the rules and requirements for making a thread.

A simple opinion,, or explanation of what it is you're talking about. Heck, maybe even throw in a picture??

If everyone made threads of things they saw online with just a little text below it this site would be crap...a bridge to other sites.

To others, I know this is funny and all good laughs..But is it not a little intimidating as well? Silenced at the will of any individual wielding this gun? You can sure as heck forget the right to free speech and protesting anything once this is distributed amongst officials of any rank. Or just average people for that fact, controlling husbands? Hey imagine using this On Irans president the next time he tries to speak at the UN. We could do that to all the world leaders who do not shut up as well. Imagine If the next time Obama speaks someone just shuts him up on national TV. Now is that wonderful technology or what?Now all i need is a way to hynotize a girl I know so I can get her to get with me instead.

oh and a little advice with the ladies..If you want any real chance of "getting with" a lady, you might want to change your methods..try being genuine and not trying to trick them into sleeping with you.

Well i was playing about shutting up people. It would be mis used too much to do that. Since it will become a free speech issue you can be sure it will be delayed. Hopefully they will go re read the constitution and think to themselves mayby just mayby this could be a problem. As for hypnotizing. There is a trick to it. The person you hynotize has to at least on the subconscious level want to to the said action. All i would be doing is unleashing her basically. Oh and yead date rape drugs are bad mm kay children.
