Dead at 43-years-old from "unexpected" natural causes? Andrew Breitbart

Given his "heart problems" last year, the initial presumption of natural causes is reasonable.

However the most interesting part of this story is:

Someone saw him fall and called paramedics.

Who could that "someone" be? That's the part that doesn't pass the "smell test", at least to me. He did recently say that he had information on Obamas' college days and was preparing to release it. My conspiracy spidey sense tells me that whomever made that call to paramedics knows more than what is being told. He/she could easily have administered one of the instant heart attack drugs before making the call.

Could it also be a warning to Sheriff Joe who is to release his findings on the question of Obamas' eligibility today at 3:00PM eastern time?

Having said that do I believe that's what happened to Breitbart? No. Simple. Like Beezer said = cause of death known in 15 minutes? NOT!

Um, I may have exaggerated on the 15 minutes. I just know it was within hours of his death. I know how ATS loves their facts.

My daughters friend died a few weeks back. It was just 3 weeks after her 16th birthday. She died from epilepsy .. but it wasn't expected. So it can happen. However, all things considered with this Andrew Breitbart ... I smell smoke and I betchya there is a really big fire to go with it somewhere ...

Do you all realize the original source that called his death "natural causes" is from Breitbart's own website. The media took that quote and ran with it.

Joel Pollak, editor-in-chief and in-house counsel for Breitbart's website, Breitbart.com, posted a statement confirming his death.

"Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles,"

What do the folks tasked with determining the cause of death have to say?

Craig R. Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the Los Angeles Coroner's Office confirmed Andrew Breitbart's time of death as being 12:19 a.m. Thursday at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

He went on to offer the following short comment via e-mail:

"Body not yet examined. No final cause of death yet established by the Coroner," Harvey wrote.

So, if anyone is providing fodder for the conspiracy minded individual, it's Breitbart's own website, as the investigation into his death is ongoing.

Because of Breitbart’s age — he was just 43 — and the unexpected death, authorities say they will do an autopsy to determine the cause of death, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Breitbart had left his home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles to go for a walk. He was discovered collapsed on the sidewalk at around 12:30 a.m. He was taken to the emergency room at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Breitbart’s father-in-law, “Desperate Housewives” actor Orson Bean, told the Times, “It looks like a heart attack, but no one knows.”

Breibart, the 43-year-old conservative pundit and provocateur who died suddenly early Thursday while walking near his Los Angeles home, had stopped into The Brentwood, a nearby bar and restaurant. There, he struck up a conversation with Arthur Sando, a marketing executive who didn't know Breitbart but likely was the last person to talk extensively with him before he died.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sando says he arrived at the bar in the tony Brentwood section of L.A. around 10 p.m. and soon the empty seat next to his was filled by a man with a familiar face.
"I tried to figure out how I knew him," says Sando, a veteran publicity and marketing executive who works for dietary supplement company MonaVie and has worked at CBS, King World Prods and Turner Broadcasting. "He was on his BlackBerry. And I said 'Andrew?' I told him I had seen his work."
Sando says the duo quickly struck up a conversation that would last a little less than two hours.

"He was friendly and engaging," Sando recalls. "I said, 'You can't be very happy with the slate of Republican candidates' and he said, 'Why would you say that?' I said, 'Well, they're talking about contraception,' and he said, 'The conversation is being framed by the liberal media.' I said, 'Well, the media isn't writing Rick Santorum’s speeches for him.' We had a back-and-forth for awhile until we said we weren’t going to agree on some things."
The friendly debate continued in the bar as Breitbart sipped red wine, says Sando. "We just hit it off, he was delightful. There were other people who sat down and joined the conversation."

Sando also mentioned that he hadn't seen Breitbart as a guest on HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher recently; Breitbart told Sando he enjoyed going on Maher's show because it taught him how to deal with a hostile audience and how to react when getting booed.
Breitbart had stopped in for a drink but wasn't there to meet anyone in particular, Sando says. Nor were there any signs of health or other problems.
"He wasn’t drinking excessively," Sando recalls. "He was on his BlackBerry a lot."

After the two hours, Breitbart said he was leaving. "We exchanged contact information," Sando says. "We were going to get together."
Sando says he was "shocked" to read Thursday morning that Breitbart, who had a history of heart problems, had collapsed while on a walk near his home in the same neighborhood as the bar. Breitbart was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead at 12:19 a.m., according to Reuters, less than an hour after leaving The Brentwood.
The exact cause of death has not been revealed but initial reports said it was natural causes.

It is sad that he died. It is a coincidence that he died on the date he planed to release his video. However, his organization still plans to review his tapes and release them within the next 10 days. If the tapes are that incriminating then they should speak for themselves. What I'm saying, from the conspiracy view, is what is the point of killing him and not getting rid of all the tapes he was planning on airing? The simple fact that the tapes are still around for viewing should lend discredit to the notion of foul play, right?

Slightly off topic, but what is the father of four young children doing 'stopping in for a drink' at a bar until midnight? Non-alcoholics do not do this, am I right?

Meanwhile, the right wing media is telling me I'm supposed to feel bad he died cuz he had children. Seems like he didn't care enough about them to spend the evenings with them.

You don't have to be an alcoholic to be at a bar, even if you are a father.....

He died of a heart attack, many people have died of heart attacks at an early age.

Hell, even super fit soccer players have collapsed from undiagnosed heart conditions and died suddenly.
