the new lava & basalt will cover millions of square miles...the heat trapping gasses will add millions of tonnes of heat generating atmospheric chemicals/elements into the high atmosphere, just like in the ancient era

the mantle plumes created by the run-away Core & outer Core will generate 100s of new 'hot spots' instead of the 40-50 that now exist... all this heating & out-gassing will continue until & including the switching of the magnetic poles perhaps by Dec 2012 but probably not much longer than by 2020

Certain things can be avoided as I know,but what will exactly happen we don't really know.

March 2, 2012 – BOLIVIA – The San Calixto Observatory director of La Paz, Estela Minaya confirmed that there is a small rise of magma (molten rock in the form of lava and gases) from the volcano Uturuncu, however, but immediately rule out a possible eruption.

Minaya told the Red Erbol said now one of the purposes of the Observatory is to trace the progression of the volcano and to determine how high and fast magma is rising inside the volcano. “Then, (known) that the molten material begins to rise and generates what is seen as a strain at the surface. Studying this method indicates what kind of deformation and “growth,” the volcano is experiencing.

Right now, indication there is a slight rise but the magma is rising at a very low speed. Now that this ‘growth’ isn’t very large and can’t generate a volcanic eruption,” he said. He noted that this work takes place two years ago with the interferometer system and the last eruption in Uturuncu would have registered more than 1.6 million years or so.

A week ago, was reported in boliviaprensa.com international scientists are studying the changes introduced Uturuncu volcano, since satellite measurements show that the mountain has been growing at a rate of 1.3 centimeters per year over the past two decades. -Erbol translated

Volcanic activities in Indonesia's Mount Semeru keep increasing with 38 tremors on Thursday from around 28 everyday and its danger status remains at level III, an official told Xinhua. Dr. Surono, head of Vulcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation of Geology Agency (PVMBG) said that the volcano keeps erupting everyday, forming volcanic dome and emitting smoke.

"Tremor occurs every 15-30 minutes," said Surono. However, he said that the agency has not yet urged people living surrounding the volcano to evacuate.

According to local media, some people in the area are worried of sudden eruption that could destroy their villages following the increasing volcanic activities.

Mount Semerun, the highest one in Java Island with height of 3, 676 meters, is one of the most active volcanos in Indonesia.

Dormant volcano is something of a misnomer - volcanoes that were active before can be active again. It is simply a matter of the magma forcing a way through the plugs created during the huge gaps of time since previous eruptions.

I know you dismissed it earlier, but geologists firmly believe that the increase in data is entirely down to their being far more people around these days observing and commenting on any activity. If that is good enough for the experts in this particular field then it is certainly good enough for me.

Did you evaluate historic data in order to determine that the current outbreaks are either more numerous or stronger than common volcanic activity ?

Very interesting. Seems to be related to clif high's "expando planet" model, which I think is plausible. My only problem with Dr. Kahalilnov's theory is that he states that solar activity is high, which it is not. It is higher than the past few years, but it's still low for a max.



Perhaps there is some connection between the "lull" and the earth?
