Star and flag. Mirrors, crystal balls, bowls with water, all seem to be able to be used for scrying or other paranormal purposes. I myself haven't had any luck with stuff like that, but they do seem to have a solid history with such things.
"To start with, the idea that it's a "Devil's Toybox" is misleading as the Devil doesn't exist - he's a wholly made up figure used to install fear in otherwise weak minded people as a means of control.
I think any perceived sounds or buzzing or "hissing" is only in the mind of the person claiming to hear it. "
While I agree with the sentiment, being picky over wording is kind of a red herring. It could be called a ghost box, or a spirit box, and it would be just as real or unreal.
"Devices" such as this are, and always will be an interesting area of study. The things they manifest, whether of a paranormal nature, or just from our own mind will always keep is intrigued. Good post OP, I look forward to hearing that recording.

They play a short recording which at first is rather filled with the usual static noise and such. Some strange sounds can be heard among the static. Then they clean it up a bit with their studio gear, it sounds allot better.
The third take is to play it backwards, and they claim it sounds like someone saying; help me...
I do not agree with that. But I can still understand that they think so.
Though they are aware of the fact that one hears what one wants.
The man they are interviewing seems to be working with paranormal things and has done some tv shows about such things. One called possessed possessions.
They also talk about opening the toybox and place possessed things inside.edit on 1-3-2012 by LiberalSceptic because: (no reason given)
