Is the alignment the cause?

Which alignment is that then? There are many alignments in the Solar System and certainly the the Sun / Jupiter / Saturn seems to have a very definite effect upon the seismicity of the Earth according to some, but that one is not due yet I believe.

Sounds as if they have been preaching doom since forever!

As the great conjunction of 1583 was the last in the watery trigon it was widely supposed to herald apocalyptic changes; a papal bull against divinations was issued in 1586 and as nothing really significant had happened by 1603 with the advent of a new trigon, the public interest rapidly died.

Generally just like the Moon influences the high and low tires on the Earth, planets can influence us too. So theoretically an allignement or too much closeness to objects with higher gravity or simialr, can cause changes. I thought I posted it already but how is this different from other anual disasters,

Thank you for that video. Very interesting information to consider. I too still have the "what if" of planet x in the back of my mind.
