Never said Hussein was a nice guy lol. Fact of the matter is the USA knew about those attrocities and didn't lift a finger....Oh but he was about change to Euros for oil trade, I guess thats when he went from being a tolerable asshole to a threat to American freedom huh....

anyway, I totally agree with you concerning Saddam. I also agree we are getting off topic

Don't get me wrong, I don't aim to bash the USA at all....simple at hypocritical foreign policies

Do you have any idea the people we have put in power and have killed more amount of people than that?? Sadaam was a CIA mole from what I understand and most of the things he did were "allowed to happen" from the US until we played our Pawn.

Israel has said it will attack Iran's nuclearfacilities as a means of self defense, not kill every man women and child.

As for the US staying out of it, we have always had Israel's back and have pedg ed our allegiance to them since Israel became a state in 1948. Why when they are under the greatest threat, should we just abandon them?

Ill tell you what's wrong with these people that you are directing your post to. The motto of this site is "Deny Ignorance" but lately this site seems to be having an exponential increase in ignorance. Some people on this site could witness first hand Iran, Lebanon, Hezbollah, or any of their proxy factions preemptively striking American or Israeli interests and they would still scream at the top of their lungs that those states are peaceful.

I would be willing to bet that most if not all of them have never served in the service or been within a thousand miles of the Mideast and only come to their conclusions based off what they get from certain media outlets. There is no sense debating them, you will just waste your time.

If you also do some research you will see that the US aided the uprisings, but apparently didn't come to their aid as planned. Or they didn't plan on it at all.

I've been off looking up a bit more about just how Iran is capable of hitting without Nuclear weapons and essentially destroying the infrastructure and vast majority of the population for a nation the size of Israel and what I found was a bit startling. The main workhorse they have is the Shahab-3, apparently. It became operational for service in 2004 and was in domestic production for their testing as far back as 1998. Mass production has been going on domestically all this time.

Ranges are certainly enough to get attention, if they're launching missiles.

One variant is described as a single 2,200lb warhead while the design can also carry 6 MIRV warheads of around 600lb's each. Accuracy is anywhere from 2500 meters to something much more accurate if Chinese guidance systems have been incorporated. Several sources seem to say that has happened over the years.

Iraq had scuds and only really had them in an effective way for the first 1991 war. Effective being a relative thing for those. If this happens, I just hope our side is fighting to win it. No pulling punches thinking we can afford to be nice. War has to be total to win...because the other side absolutely will be.

I've worked for, with and around Iranians my entire life. It comes with the line of work I'm in. Some have been downright evil and some have been friendly. A few that I know are extremely nice and gentle people, but the fact is that 95% of them are selfish and only care about their own well being and self-interest. Israelis are the same way, and in some ways worse (and I say that as a person who was brought up Jewish but for a long time have despised all organized religions). So do all groups/tribes/ethnicities/cultures from the middle-east. It's just part of their culture and how they are brought up. Israelis do have a much greater desire for peace however, then Iranians. Israel also has some of the greatest scientific minds on the planet and have developed a wealth of the technology we use in every day life.

This is not propaganda, or anger towards them for any one specific reason. It's just the way they are, and it's the truth.

If the U.S. gave Israel it's blessings to take out Iran, they would do so in a New York minute.

Yeah no doubt! If someone kept threatening to come into my home and kill my family I would want take them out as well!

There is a pretty big problem though! You cannot occupy Iran! This is the only reason we are not on the ground right now!

I think maybe you want to see Iran realize their nuclear ambitions while at war with Israel! It seems to me that you seek the destruction of Israel, or at least you do unknowingly!

I would hope those in power would not push it to this, but an open war with Russia would mean war upon our shores! It would also obligate China to come to their aid, and America cannot weather that storm. So really you seek to empower Iran, Russia to destroy Israel while we would be forced to sit back and watch!

I know that Christians have a vested interest in the destruction of Israel, but actively pursuing it is way over the top! A million dead in Iraq is enough for this century! Enough blood lust already!

Israel is under attack! All these emerging democracies are a great threat to Israel! The people of the region hate Israel! I know it seems like we serve the Israeli interest but I think it is actually the Saudi interest!
