I'm not disputing that the jews were behind the crucifixion of Jesus, as per the New Testament. I, however, find your choice of quotes to prove that to be somewhat interesting/humorous. In your quote, it says nothing about jews. Jews is an extrapolation into the text. It really says "the people," and Jews is the translator's interpolation. Just strange to choose a quote that backs up that the Jews killed Jesus that never actually says anything about Jews, is all.

I had responded to accusations that the APOSTLES were killed at the behest of Jews, not to the accusation that Jesus was killed at the behest of the Jews.

What it does show, is the inherent blasphemy and idolatry of attempting to divine meaning from ancient Phoenician/Hebrew pictographs in a plot to link Christ with the god of the Jews.

Linking Jesus to the God of the Jews? How is that a plot?? If you are referring to Molech, so often mentioned in the Talmud (unless I have been misinformed), I agree, Jesus is not that god. If, however, you are positing that Jesus is NOT the God of the OT, then I must disagree with you. We may even lack common ground for a discussion...

Christians today have been duped into worshipping Yahweh, the god of the Jews, i.e. Satan.
Nowhere, ever, does the NT reference Jesus and the Apostles genuflecting to the god of this world.
