The Owners of ATS have vetted and vouched for people's ID in the past when necessary

And if ya can't trust them when they say " I checked so and so's ID and he/she/it is who he says he is", then who CAN you trust

But mostly that is in the case of someone using their real name...

Very hard to vet someone who has an anonymous nickname and say "Yeah, that's him"
