Did you know that our government spends approx.
$800 million on keeping people locked up.
$250 million is spent on keeping other countries crimnals locked up.
$1.5 billion on aquireing more.
Which means $2.5 billion dollars is spent on captureing and houseing crimnals.
Anyone who works for any version of the Department of corrections will tell you that the bulk is spent
on luxury items. Such as game systems, big screen tvs, swimming pools etc. What to find out for yourself,
see if there is a tour offered to the public of a local prison or jail. Or just simply go to their sites and see for
yourself.

Did you know that our government spends approx.
A undisclosed amount on the South of the Border War but never sent a major invasion force.
$125 million on up keep of foreign owned busineses who don't pay taxes.

Did you know that the SS Disabilty Admin denies anyone who is disabled if they aren't both physical and
mentally disabled. Even if they have several doctors and that includes their doctors say you are.That when you retire your money is based only on 1/4 of your working career. So what does this mean? Ist, if you can't
work they base your draw off of 5 years prior to being turned down. Then once turned down you have to wait
three years to appeal before someone they appoint to judge you case. 2nd, if approved by the judge wait
another year and when you finally draw it will be based apon the last year worked.

Did you know that if you ever have drawed unemployment it will be deducted from the amount you can draw from
SS. Also they can make you pay for the insurance that is suppose to be free if draw. They deduct it and it is subcarrier group and their is nothing you can do.

Did you know that in either North or South America there is enough current and future fuel supplies to carry our
population and would be cheaper and cleaner but billions is spent getting elsewhere.

Did you know that 250 to 500 million is also spent on Penis Pumps covered under Medicare?

When spending $868 billion on the defence budget, this just doesn't matter much.

I wouldn't exactly classify keeping criminals incarcerated as "wasteful" spending. But I like the direction you are headed. There are thousands of examples of unarguable govt wasteful spending to follow up on.

In large part your government is spending your money servicing the debt on the money it has borrowed from the rest of the world over the last 40 years. :-)

I'm just so sick of the handouts to be honest. It breeds laziness. Everyone receiving handouts should be enrolled in some subsidized social/government tasks that most local townships often pass levys to raise the funding for.

I've posted some more links about government waste in this thread here, including some new documentary coming out later this year.

Some of the money is spent on purchasing goods and services. Some are still our concerns and should be known further.
