Ok. Like I said, this is a bit creepy. This doesn't happen often, maybe once a month. Sometimes when I'm asleep, I wake up cause I feel something walking across the foot of the bed. Not like a person, but, you know when a cat is not sure of it's footing, how they will carefully, step by step go across something? Like that. Very light, very slow. I usually fall asleep with the TV on and there is enough light to see that nothing is there. I never sit up suddenly, just open my eyes enough to see and watch. We have cats, but I have felt these foot steps going across the bed while being able to plainly see there's no cat in the room.. I saw a docu a while back of some woman having a similar problem and actually caught hers on video. A nasty, creepy looking little creature, about the size of a small monkey. But, so far,I haven't seen anything.

I laid down on the bed one time very quickly and something that was not there actually pushed me up and out of the way as it left the bed.

my entire body was shoved out of the way as if I laid on top of someone by mistake and they were moving me off of them.

strange indeed

Some weird things that happened to me:
1. Dust devil formed around me and moved with me at the eye on a college campus even stopping at my dorm building

2. Doors opened up by themselves right when I was ready to walk through them but not a moment sooner. This repeated not during the 30 minutes of me playing an arcade game in the lobby but exactly when I left again and then again in the next building lobby.

3. A number of other strange little episodes. Such as coming home from High School one afternoon and no one was home but all the lights in the house glowed red. I didn't even know at the time that regular light bulbs could be red instead of white.

4. At one time I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I saw a figure I will call Death coming towards me. I felt like I was going to die but didn't want to. I suddenly felt spared. A real tornado apparently came down out of the sky that I could not see and devastated a tree overhanging our house and chopped off another at roof level at the end of our house. Across the street the tornado took full grown large pines and cut them off at the ground and stuck them back in the ground like giant toothpicks upside down.

5. I saw a low cloud being escorted by 4 or 5 dark helicopters just above the tree tops. It was moving fast. I got a little bit wet from the "rain" falling out of this cloud before I ducked under the eve of the house. They and the cloud were gone in less than 60 seconds after spotting them.

6. I was once at the center of a supercell of monster F5 tornadoes. The lightning outside was nonstop. I could not see any flickering. I stupidly decided to look past the bright light coming through the window shade and peek outside. I saw an intensely lit landscape even though it was nightime. Then I realized I was blind. My vision fortunately came back after a few minutes.

7. I've felt some presence or something on occasion touching me gently in my home. About a week after I moved, I felt nothing for a whole week, then it seemed like something moved in with me. I don't feel any presence in other places.

8. I'm currently experiencing weird electrical static shocks at odd times. Sometimes I get shocks when touching water but not the water faucet. Tonight I got a big surprise reaching up and grabbing something off the shelf in a grocery store. It was almost 80 degrees today even though it is February and I got a big shock at an odd time.

That's a brief summary.

interesting... i believe your experiences but just to be on the safe side, make sure you do not have a short or exposed wire in your hot water heater because i have been shocked by water coming right out of the shower head. turns out that water was somehow contacting one of the live wires in the hot water heater.

that is if it only happens in one place... not trying to discredit your claims because I firmly believe in energies and things like that. just making sure about safety.

take care...

I can honestly say I've never had a paranormal experience.

I'm convinced they're all in people's heads.

I have a couple of odd things that have been happening since we bought this house about 6 years ago. The first has been an off and on occurrence. We have all seen this, my wife, son, daughter and myself. This past summer I came in through the front door, walked into the kitchen and out of the corner of my eye, down the hallway, saw what I thought was my wife walk from our bedroom, across the hall, to the bathroom. Thinking it was her, I started talking to her about something. Getting no answer, I went to the bathroom to see why she wasn't answering. No one there. I went looking for her and she had been out on the back porch reading. I had been working out front on the roses and she had been out back for at least 20 minutes. This has happened several times to different members of the family. I'll post the other if any are interested.

Forgot to mention, we were the only ones home at the time, kids were gone.

Reading this story reminds me of the 'woman' I once saw at my mothers house.

One evening I went to visit my mother. We were having a good time and we went on chatting till late at night. Just the two of us. I decided to sleep over instead of going back to my house. I was always aware of a presence in her house, but I was comfortable with it. It didn't feel like something nasty. I always made sure though, to announce my presence by making a little bit of noise when I needed to go to the bathroom at night or when I wanted something from the kitchen.

This is my usual tactics when I am strolling around in the dark, or in an empty house, when I am aware of some presence. Keeping my eyes averted for some seconds and making some noise, is my way to alert the presence that I am on my way, so I will not be scared by an surprise encounter.

That night, while getting into bed, I suddenly remembered I left my phone in the living room. I jumped from the bed, threw open the bedroom door and looked straight through the hallway into the living room. To my surprise I saw my mother dancing around the table in the midst of some soft light. She swayed around with her hands in the air, her long hair flowing, twirling graciously around, smiling happily.
I immediately felt alarmed. The lightness and weirdness of it all, told me it was a spirit. This spirit of my mother dancing, could mean that she was dead or OBEing.... !
So tentatively I whispered "Mama....?"

My "mama?" scared the woman so much, she twisted around midair with her eyes wide open in shear terror, with her dress and hair flowing madly around her, before she disappeared like a snuffed candle.
Now i was really spooked, so I bellowed "MAMA!" and threw open the door of my moms bedroom. Who in turns almost falls out of her bed. "Whats wrong? Whats the matter?" I was so relieved to see her alive, I just stand there staring at her. "I thought I saw you dancing around the dinner table.." I said a bit shaky. She looked totally bewildered. "What?" So I explained what I just saw a midst a lot of giggling.

We ended up drinking a cup of tea to calm down, while she assured me it was not her OBEing or anything, because she just settled in her bed. I also realized I thought it was my mother because of the long hair, but that the woman really didn't looked like her. After a while she asked me if I was ready to go to bed again.

Before I could answer, a loud BANG nearly gave me a heart attack. One of the balloons, still hanging down the ceiling from a party a few days before, was ruptured. We just sat there staring at it for like a minute, the BANG was followed by a loud CLICK of the video-recorder. Luckily for us, the adapter of the television was out of the socket, or else it would have made one hell of a noise on an already jumpy night. It was obvious it was some sort of payback time. So I mentally made my excuses to the woman to have scared her.

We had enough. It was nearly morning as we went to bed, determined not to let anybody keep us awake.

It sure is DaTroof! It is all in my head, surely not in my feet......!

It's oke!! Its hard to believe in things one did not experience. I understand. There are still some things out there I have a hard time wrapping my head around. While I experienced it myself or not.

This coming from a woman who saw wooden beings strolling through her garden. LOL

I have a memorable experience of going into a home that had numerous strange happenings.

I was friends with someone when younger who had lived with her grandmother. The first time I visited their house, we were sitting around the kitchen table talking and I keep seeing a figure leaning against the wall to my right just outside of my peripheral vision. I got a full on vision of him in my mind. He was average height, dark hair and eyes thin and stood there with arms folded seemingly glaring at us. I asked them both who this man was that I was seeing.

I was told that the grandmother had let her nephew live in her furnished basement due to him having nowhere else to live. It seems that he was mentally not the most stable and in the past had had drug abuse problems. One day he purchased a winning lottery ticket that had been misplaced. He totally freaked out over it and accused the grandmother of stealing his winning ticket. He became psychotic and chased her with a knife. The grandmother escaped and ran to a neighbor’s house and called the police. The police came and took him to jail. During the night he had hung himself.

Another day, I was with my friend alone in the house. We were chatting on her bed when all of a sudden we hear this extremely loud banging on the side of the house. It was this almost metallic like sound – hard to describe, almost like a hallow sound. We just looked at each other and listened with wide eyes until it stopped. Next, I was in the bathroom with the door opened looking in the mirror. The bathroom door slammed shut on its own. My friend is used to this sort of behavior from him, even though it is very unnerving so basically tries to ignore it. We didn’t get overly concerned and after a while he stopped and from then on I never experienced his “acting up” when I was over although I did feel his negative presence plenty of times when visiting.

Years later my friend’s grandmother passed and I saw her sitting in her favorite rocking recliner chair. After I told my friend I see her she had simply seemed to fade out right before my eyes.

Here at the Temple we have those we have felt that they were odd and alot of times have been ridiculed
for their believe in the paranormal. However, there has been yet to date anyone who doesn't believe
in it prove that is does not without a shadow of doubt does not exsist. Now, if you are open minded
enough and have a clear objective opinion about it, then you will have some sort of paranormal experince.
With any practiced abilty or talent, you will be able to do alot more and understand more as you go.

Those of us that have had experiences could say by your reasoning we feel your dream world that %99 of you reside in is a life in oblivion unaware of what reality really is.

See, it goes both ways but I do thank you for not being snide in your remarks regarding what some of us see.

I wish I could prove these things to you and others but maybe, just maybe there is a reason you are not supposed to be able to see behind the wizard's curtain.

I was at my son's house one day. he lives with his mom. There were 11 of us in the house and 2 dogs and 4 cats.

We were all on the sectional and all animals in front of the fire.

I have told my ex over the years that there is a little boy that resides in her house. He is about 12 or 13 and usually I see him at the bathroom door.

Well, this day while we were all on the sectional and accounted for, someone dashed past all of us and ran up the stairs.

The running up the stairs was really loud also.

Everyone saw it and they all heard it yet, its dismissed as seeing things.

11 people seeing the same thing yet it is dismissed.

Lovely.

I just wanted you to know I've been reading all your experiences and very many responses resonate with me, too. Bless you all for sharing because I, especially, know how hard it can be to do this.

I have a question for anyone who may have had this happen to them: Did you ever have those nosebleeds that were so severe they were like hemorrhages? Required doctors visits, but the docs could never figure out exactly where it was coming from. (It was very far back in the nose or sinus, I could tell).

I got those a lot during my childhood and they seemed to coincide with certain of the paranormal events taking place. So, does this sound familiar to any of you?

I heard somewhere about someone having that problem, and it turned out they had one of those implants (from ETs) in their nose. Have you had it x-rayed to see if anything is there?

No, I've had plenty of reason to have MRIs taken of my spine, but I've never had enough problems with my head for insurance to give an okay on it. No headaches or anything like that. The nosebleeds stopped at around age 11, so it's been a long time, even though the events kept right on going.

And yes, the UFO events were exactly what triggered the nosebleeds in the first place. So weird. And, there's just been so many things over such a long period of time, I'm still having a hard time getting it together.

And, some things, not most, but some things are very much buried in my mind. I considered hypnosis, but again, there's the insurance problem.

I've considered hypnosis to remember some things, as well. I am in the same boat as you, not having money to spare right now to do it. I wouldn't know who I could trust anyway. Someday I will do it, and I also want to be regressed to my past lives..... always wanted to do that!

Past lives, that's so cool! For the time being, though, I would dearly love to know everything that went on in my current life. That sounds so odd, but there was one night in particular, that stands out so profoundly, missing-time-wise, I can't really get it off my mind. I am not the kind of person who has "blackouts", either. it's not like me at all. I promise, I'll tell the whole story, as soon as I can manage it. High strangeness, though.

My kids say I'm the one who's haunted, because every place we move it's always something! Of course, they've witnessed a few things themselves.

I'll definitely stay in touch. I love this thread and subscribed, so I'll be there.

Here is, yet, another one of my experiences... I've had a lot of them!

One night a friend of mine called to ask me what that green florescent cloud was that was floating over my house (my parents house). I hadn't noticed it, so I went outside, and there it was! Very bright florescent green misty cloud looming over the top of the entire roof. It stayed there for almost two weeks, and no one else seemed to notice it, but my friend and me. Could it have been some type of gas emitting from the house, or do you think it could have been a UFO hiding itself in the mist?

Definitely not alone. From the age of 12 I had what I call "vivid" dreams, there were totally different to a normal dream, much more clear and vivid and always prophetic. It got to the stage that I did not even have to be asleep to experience flashes of the future. As I got older I could hear "spirits" BUT here is the good part, I am an Atheist and I don't believe in life after death but these people were telling me things I could not know. The only way I could reason it was by deciding that we all live in a multiverse and the premonitions are simply bleeding though from other Universes. I have experienced phenomena such as objects moving and things reappearing. I seem to have passed it on to both my children as there have been numerous occasions when I have been visited during the night and the next morning my children (now both adults) would tell me about the "person" they saw in their room. One night a very young solider that appeared to both my son and myself, I just said to my son "I had a visitor last night" and then he told me so had he and went on the describe the same "person". I said did you ask him what he wanted (my son was about 16 at the time), he said no I didn't I shouted "**** off, you are scaring me" and then pulled the quilt over his head ! My daughter and I were both visited by a young girl, she asked me to play with her and when I said I couldn't, she told me her name and said she never had anyone to play with. The next morning my daughter told me that she had dreamt about a young girl and they were playing together in a large Victorian mill type building.

One of the funniest "vivid" dreams I had was when I was married. My husband put the cricket on to watch (if you are outside the UK be grateful, watching cricket is about as much fun as a root canal without an anaesthetic) and I said to him "I am not watching this match again", he told me it was a live final and I told him "no, its not. I watched this a few days ago, that team wins, on the last or next to last ball or the over and the headline in the papers the next day was "what a corker" (the man of the match was a cricket player named Corke). He told me not to be stupid and I was wrong. The match was won by the team I said, on the last ball of the match and the headline to next day was "what a corker".

Thing happen so regularly that either myself or the children have taken to shouting "stop it, no one is impressed" when the noises start and things start flying.

I am really glad I am not alone, sometimes it does almost make you question your sanity, I am just glad that if I am bonkers that the children can keep me company because they must be too.
