In the example a moth filmed with standard video camera and a high speed camera, the standard camera is not quick enough to show the motion of the wings and insect body the result the classic rod shape. This shape varies with the type of insect/small bird and is more than enough proof to show that rods are an optical effect.

Yes, I've seen those debunked videos before. The lady in the thread I was hoping to find (but didn't) was seeing these things with her own eyes, and she said it wasn't bugs. So, she went and got her camera and filmed them to share with ATS. Of course, just like you, everyone told her they weren't real.

I can see how a moth would look like a rod when flying at high speed, so I'll have to agree that in some cases it may just be a bug... but not always.

1. A movie came out about my former career in the Coast Guard as a rescue swimmer, called the Guardian. It was filmed in part at my old air station in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

2. A few years later I asked out a woman named Taylor in Wilmington, NC. Called three times to get a date after getting her number. Gave up after that and never called again.

3. Bought a sailboat and sailed down the eastern coast of the Carolinas. Left my car at home. I rented a car in Charleston S.C. It was a Dodge Avenger.

4. Before the Dodge Avenger rental, the US Navy runs a ship aground. The USS Guardian.



5. The week I rented the Avenger in Charleston, the US Navy runs another ship aground. The USS Taylor, which was an Avenger class minesweeper.

Before I sailed down to Charleston. I was sailing around the waters of Wilmington. The intercoastal waterway, and the Cape Fear river between my home marina and the downtown docks at Wilmington to grab a bite to eat and socialize at the coffee shop.

I was wondering what this store was on the island where I bought a house. It was called Sweepstakes. Then this video comes out.



In the video a bunch of crows appear on the Sweepstakes sign. Which is was interesting because I associate crows with negativity. Turns out the store was legal gambling. Place where people waste money trying to get more money. Wasteful and irresponsible. Negative.

The crows appear at 3:50.

In the video there are also lyrics that say "When the mako flies up from the bottom into your eyes, you'll find you're not so broken hearted". The broken hearted thing I don't get, because I don't get emotional over relationships that end. But the mako thing was interesting because when sailing up the Cape Fear River to the coffee shop a shark jumped out of the river near the sailboat. Which prompted me to ask out another woman. Then when I sailed back down the river to my marina I stopped to anchor at a harbor in Carolina Beach. I looked over to a marina, not my home marina, and I saw the words on the back of a ketch. The boat was called "The Flying Fish".

I have another one.

I attended Marshal University a few years before the movie the Chronicles of Riddick came out. In it there is a character called the Lord Marshal.

Shortly after being baptized and shortly before transferring from Glenville State College to Marshal University I was working at a Pizza Hut in Glenville, WV. While going up front to the counter to grab the bus pan full of dirty dishes for some unknown reason I turned to look behind me across the counter to the customers. As I did look I gazed upon a 20-something year old man with a girl who I never met but I knew her character. She was raised in a good home. As I looked upon him, he slowly closed his eyes and lowered his head. He stayed like that for as long as I set eyes upon him. Later I asked a church buddy who I lifted weights at the gym with if his behavior was indication of demonic influence. My friend responded by saying that it was not wise to speak of spiritual things, without confirming my suspicions about the event.

Later this movie came out. In it there was a scene where Lord Vako attempts to approach the Lord Marshal. The Lord Marshal senses his approach behind him, and sharply turns to look at Vako. Vako lowers his head. Later Vako tells Dame Vako, his mate that he attempted to approach the Lord Marshal. "I approached him in perfect silence, and he knew. He sees everything!". The Lord Marshal is depicted with a helmet with 3 faces in addition to his own, indicating he can see in every direction.

Does anyone here receive "signs" from their guardians/angels?

I have told many times here that my angels leave small white feathers to let me know they are near.
I found one just a few minutes ago lying on my bathroom rug in front of the toilet. It's red, so anything that lands on it shows up extremely well. It wasn't there when I first went in this morning; I would have seen it, and no one had been in there but me until I just now went back.

It makes me smile every time I find a feather. I think I'll find a way to glue them to a small rope necklace and hang it on my wall, or maybe even wear it.
I have quite a collection of feathers after all these years.

Angels communicate with us everyday trying their best to raise our hopes in these bad days.

Sometimes you may have a dream of a random place that you do not recognize. You naturally assume that its just a mishmash of memories creating a new dream location. Then 3 months later you walk to a new place that is identical to the dream. Even the weather is the same. Dreams like that show you that you are on your perfect life path.

Just watch out for dreams where you watch an angel do something for free to another person like making them look prettier or raising their self esteem. Those types of dreams are them showing you that they are there for you 100%.

In sled735's case, having a dream of finding a feather in a known location where later that day, she actually walks that path and finds a similar feather at that exact position would be a perfect example of help from an angel.

Having a dream of walking a path, seeing a moving car with a triple number registration where during the day whilst at that location shows a car with a 777 is a strong hint that the person is on their correct path.

What was supposed to explode? Nothing!

There was a major shift in consciousness though as we entered into a higher state of vibration on the planet.

This thread has lasted over 5 years, but is at the point where not enough people see it anymore to ask people to keep posting. When people post their experience, they want feedback, right? I think I'm the only one giving it at this point.

I'm going to let the thread die now, but before I do, I want to thank each and every member who had the nerve to come forward and share their experience with me and ATS (and the world of lurkers). Your stories were AWESOME!

I've learned so much by what has been shared in this thread, and I think it is the best source on the internet for where one can come to learn just about anything regarding the paranormal. This thread has it all, thanks to you.
It's been a great experience!

I hope each and every one of you have a great future and have learned how to handle your paranormal experiences with advice given in this thread, or just received some good therapy in being able to talk to others of like mind without ridicule.
