The one that I experienced actually caused me to stop meditation for several years. It scared me that bad back then...lol
I have not experienced that since, but then I also don't meditate much anymore.

I could do a painting of it, no problem.

Yes, I want to see it on canvas, or paper, or whatever.

I've read that bad experiences happen in deep meditation because we haven't balanced our chakras first. Maybe you need to work on that, and lead up to meditation. I'm sure you've heard this many times, as long as you've been a member here.

I wish I had more time to do this, but my life is so crazy running around like a crazy person on my days off, and working my butt off during the week with all the overtime they are throwing on us. I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever get time to work on the spiritual things I want to.

Looking back at that experience, it wasn't anything bad, but not expected, and I think that is why I got scared. There have been a couple of times in my life where something "psychic" is so unexpected that it startles me, although now, not so much.

The portal or "vortex" was just strange, and it triggered my "That is not possible" fight or flight response. This was back in my very early days of attempting to tap into myself and whatever else is out there.

I think now if that were to happen, just like a few other experiences I had early on, I would approach it differently if I ever had one appear again. I already kind of use something similar in my head when I attempt to make contact with someone/thing . I visualize a portal of sorts. I never really thought about it. Maybe that experience did more than I thought.

As to chakras being out of tune, more than likely they are, but if it isn't broken, don't fix it. I am not one to want to really tune in all that much. I'm already tuned in enough, and had to learn how to tune out at one point. I do meditate once and a while, especially if I need to tune in, but then I tune out right away...lol Psychic awareness is not something you want on all the time. Been there, done that, and prefer to just kind of let it happen on its own now.
Comes in handy for work.

I want to share a dream thah i had a week ago: I was watching two bombs exploding, then a beautiful voice said: Bombs explodes in Baghdad killing two dead people.
I can't stop complaining about this dream.

Well, I guess you're right about that. I hadn't thought of that. But I do want to work more on meditation. Between work, household chores, then my cat distracting me when I do get time... I don't know when I'll get to.

Yes, experience does help teach us to be less fearful. It's just the unknown that throws us a curve at times.

I've had many paranormal experiences even seeing what lays waste in the Universe above. . I love our World and the Universe. . It helps us, expecially when we all are united as one; but time is moving faster. As well we all notice of what happening around us, take a look at our bible. . It talks about how everything going to happen before the Return of our Brother. And if i'm not mistaken the rise of undead, now undead could be anything involving undead as paranormal type beings, and zombies. Now, as well if im not mistaken a lot of people are experencing more paranormal then before. . And like what another member of ATS said "They could be waiting" either waiting on Jesus to come or when they are able to do Satans biding. Now we all know that times are a near, but thou shouldnt worry because we all know what going to be done. The signs are here and have been here, an that the only way we know the times are near. . But, unrelated or not a lot know and should know. But, like others say believe; have faith. . Now, my paranormal experiences have been werid and wild. . Expecially one experience where i got really drunk and ended up fliping script and going crazy. .My whole family was in shock and even said that wans't me and i've came to the conculsion i was possessd by a evil spirit because that wasn't my first time; there has been many times that this has happen to me and not only me but a lot of people but some haven't even thought of the same conculsion as I have. . Now, other paranormal experinces; i've seen many spirits and ghostly figures whiche some i've seen a lot of people explain to me as some of these shadowly figures known as "Shadow People". I've also had times where when i was a teenager, I wouldn't sleep in my room for over months and I now do not stay in that room my sister does. . But, ever since my experiences in that room; from dream catcher to tv going on and off but with a blue screen and seeing spirits or ghost within the room. . Now the dream catcher, ive owned that certain dream catcher for over 5 years until one day; i decided to get a chair and go dust my dream catcher off but ive noticed it was perfectly broken. The top part of the dream catcher was snaped in half perfectly, which is one of the main reasons why my room at the time scared the # out of me. . So, i chunked it. . I have another one but one of the webs within the dream catcher tore. . But, ive also came to a conclusion on how I notice when people are thinking about me or talking about me. . Or when a spirit is near me, true or not i call this sudden spider type sense "Ghost Touch" When a spirit or ghost is around me or close to me my body gets the goose bumps like if a cold breeze just past me. . If a lot of people don't know what i mean. . This might help, Scooby Doo: Zombie Island; where they are watching the video of the interview and Fred gurl get the cold shoulders when a cold breeze goes past her and on the camera they see a ghost next to her. That is what I call "Ghost Touch" and i get those tingling experiences all the time but random moments. Now, another experience was when I was on the laptop in the livingroom and Ive had a fan really close to me on high. .I was getting the tingly "Ghost Touch" that time, and it felt like there was someone or something pressing against my shoulderblades and pressing down. . A heavy feeling, but the fan next to me i so called "lagging or glitching" was cutting on and off but not like if the switch was turning on and off; the motor was still going and there was a werid noise. . My computer was freezing and lagging as well. . Now, i've checked my plug outlit and there was nothing wrong, but it was happening. . That was one experience, ive had other experiences where ive heard voices and seen spirits another time or like this one experience where i thought ive seen a angel in the night sky. .Which was brighter then the north star itself and in clear view. I looked in my grandfather binoculars and it was bright but I could get an outline of a figured with wings. Now, i could have been loosing my mind at the time; but i showed my dad when he got off work and he goes to say that was the "North Star" but i corrected him and pointed to the north star. He was in shock and confused, but shrugged it off and walked inside. I had only seen that "star" or "angel" 2 or three times within a week. . But, I haven't seen it in about two years. Another experience was when I was meditating. . I had a message that told me to seek the "Secret Order of God" which, i haven't yet but will shortly even if so called "Order" exist. . Who knows, but i have high faith in God so maybe there could be a secret order. . I haved played with a Ouija Board a few times and will not ever again, but I had a freaky experience when the whole time consisted of two or three days; the whole days. .Now, my mind could have been playing me, but who knows. . I tell myself daily "I am here for a reason, God created me during this time with this certain family for a reason." Now. . I know, I was created with gifts expecially HDHD. . Reminds me of the "Indigo Children", but anyways now there has been many other experiences expecially seeing balls of light or lights in trees or around me. .Ive seen ghost at my motherlaws and wifes house. And at the canal near there place, ive also had experience with seeing "UFOS" and hearing loud noises in the atmosphere. . Now before I finish this post because if I keep going there will be a long reply. . One last experience for you all, a loud sound which echo with waves of energy that shook the sky above or as well I thought and 12 others thought as well. . It made a "Whomp whom whom whomp whom whom" noise that echoed the sky, which ive had always wonder what exactly was making that noise that night. . I couldn't find no similairties until one day i thought of a movie that had a "Ufo" which reminded me of the noise. . "Iron Sky" when they first start up the "mothership" now anyways, that night me and a bunch of people were partying. . It was a cloudy night, but the moon you could see the glaze of the light; but that night were were suppose to see a meteor shower. . We tried and tried that night but couldn't because how cloudly it was. .Until we were all sitting down, drinking and talking them here it came. . The noise that rock the sky, shaking above. .The Noise echoed in the sky, sending off vibrating g force which consisted the shaking and it seem like a earthquake was going off in the atmosphere above. I was in shocked and was happy that this was my second "ufo" type "extrateressial" experiences. .I told everyone, I would be back an I walked to my friends house and they were outside and I asked if they heard anything and they agreed with me. And I haven't heard the noise since that day, that day was around 2 years ago. . Anyways, that about it; I have many more experiences and werid moments. . My cats used to always brush into my candles and start their tails on fire when I would meditate. Very distracting but yet, funny in a twisted kind of way. You would think cats would learn that candles and cat tails don't mix, but I had one that did it several times. I miss having cats.

Don't get me wrong, I am very interested in the entire psychic experience. Mine, yours, everyone's!
It is how I figure out the workings of the abilities. I am comparing notes with everyone who posts in a strange way.
Comparing it to my own experience,hoping to have an epiphany so that some things work better in my own personal psychic experience. I've been fully open before, but I don't think I was nearly ready for the experience. lack of control I guess.

It kind of turned me off to being a full blown psychic. But that doesn't mean I don't want to understand it or use it.
I don't understand it, and it is not a question of Why anymore, I quit asking that, now I am more into how.

I understand the push you are having towards it being a need. I feel that way myself. I also ignore that a lot because it does interfere with work. But then, meditation is as simple as closing your eyes and allowing yourself to go silent or focusing on what you are trying to achieve, and I do use that a lot in my day to day work week.

Meditation is a very powerful tool even in small doses.

Thanks! hmm guess I will share one! not sure what it was,but when I was 12 I was getting ready for bed,it must have been around 9 or 10pm,I turned off all the lights in my room (my room was on the second floor) Andy windows were closed,I had just layed down and closed my eyes,but when I opened them up like a few minutes later,I saw this orb that was blue/white...more white than blue,it was about thej size of a basketball it flew/floated into my room through the window and lit up the whole room with its white/blue light,it was so bright that when I covered my head with my blankets the light shone through,I peeked my head out and it was still there,it stayed floating in my room for a good minute or two,but then it started to go out of my room and into the hall across to my sisters room,I shot out of bed and turned on thelights in the hallway and the orb dissapeared.


But the weird part was that about 4 months later,my sister and I shared a room downstairs and it she woke me up in the middle of the night and told me she had seen bright basketball size orb near the window,she described and it sounded exactly like what I she except she said it was really fast,it had floated around the window (she was up and just looking out the window at that time) but it would have just floated there in the same spot for about 30 seconds almost as if it was watching her and flew away lighting fast afterwards.

So yeah that was weird anyone know what this could have been? or experienced something like this?

oh I forgot to add I had asked a psychic about but like years later and she told me her daughter experienced the same thing as I when she was the same age as I was when I saw it o.o she wasn't exactly sure what it was but she thought it was either an angel or a spirit from another dimension,or something like that.

Someone else who has seen the basketball sized orbs!

I saw two of them several years ago.

I think I posted that somewhere on this thread. I will have to go back and look....

What I figured they were,was some sort of nature spirit, maybe an elemental or something.

They seem to notice that I noticed them and one zipped right up to where I was, flew around me and they sped off down the alley. They were iridescent colored orbs. That is the only time I saw orbs with my own eyes. Gotten some pictures, but never actually seen them like that before or sense.

then a few posts later:

I got no feelings from them other than amazement and that they seemed playful. They reminded me of swallows, and how they fly in groups and buzz from tree to tree. That was about the only feeling other than just a WOW! look at that! The funny thing about it was the voice beforehand, that voice pops up sometimes right before something happens like this. Maybe it was simply the voice giving me something to look at so I could accept that when it talks, something will happen. I have learned to be cautious when I hear it, because as I said, something always happens.

wow! that is amazing! you are the only other person I've walked to/came across who has seen them too besides my sister and the psychics daughter! Oh,you say they seemed playful? funny thing my sister actually said it seemed playful when she saw one,and she wasn't scared either,but as for me I was scared!literally terrified lol maybe because it was one of the first things I saw that was unusual/unexplainable/paranormal xD most of my other paranormal experiences happened after that.But you also like my sister say its fast but for me it moved very slowly o.o

That is something I have discovered over the years,the first time you see something really weird, that kind of defies the physical reality we live in, you get freaked out. It gets easier over time, although I still freak out once and a while.

Oh also its interesting in your other post you say you used to be fully psychicly open right? but you weren't ready.That is another thing we have in common! I used to be more psychicly open but I closed.myself off because I wasn't ready and was scared of things I was experiencing,but I've been thinking maybe I'm ready now,again.I'm still somewhat open,and experience some things but not nearly as much or as big as I used too,I can still see auras and feel others emotions,but everything else is gone,that is until I open myself up again.

I think it is a cycle.

learn, experience, reflect until ready to learn again.
Some of the lessons can be scary and very hard to handle the first time, if ever it gets easier.
When I totally opened up, people would just have to ask, and I would see the answer.
Auras would pop out and become very distracting.
I would lose focus on what someone was saying and start staring at the top of their heads...lol

It was neat at first. I was pleased with myself. I had a breakthrough in perception.
Then I started to experience other peoples painful moments. The first time was a complete shock.
I took on someones childhood abuse, all in about 2 seconds.
(It is also how I met one of my guides, as it left a weird wound in the center of my chest and I had a very visual experience with what I now understand to be a guide who healed the area)

Then I started to get messages from peoples relatives that passed. I thought at first this was cool as well, but then I started to watch people die. Long story short, I was over exposed to peoples traumas and it shut me (or I shut me) down.
A strange set of coincidences at the same time led me to someone who helped me out immensely with kind of getting a handle on it, at least to shield myself. Even though I call it shutting down, you never do, you just kind of shield yourself and if you need to, you can drop the shield and lift it back up.

At least that is how my mind is showing it to me at this point.

I thought I'd share an experience my husband had last Saturday while we were out camping, although it's not really paranormal- just spooky!

We were sleeping, and my husband was awakened by a large tree falling. He couldn't tell what direction it was coming from, and was pondering on how odd it was, since there wasn't even a slight breeze....then he heard 'it'.

'It' was what sounded like rocks being 'knocked' together in a rhythmic pattern- knock knock. pause...knock knock, pause.

A few years ago, a professor from our nearby university was featured in our local paper. He claimed to have seen a Bigfoot by the river, about 10 miles from where we live. We were camping eleven miles from home.

My husband hasn't ever put any credence in Bigfoot-' just an urbane legend', but now? SOMETHING was banging rocks together!

Absolutely! Time has been speeding up to the point that I can't keep up anymore!

I need some clarification on this statement. Do you mean you were drunk on alcohol, or something "possessed" you and made you feel drunk?

He seems to know quite a lot about what's going on from experiences he's had with aliens. Even if people don't believe it, it's something to consider.

Dream catchers are used to filter out all bad dreams and only allow good thoughts to enter our mind. They originated with the Ojibwe people, then later were adopted by Native Americans. Something in that room didn't want the dream catcher to keep it from "getting to you", so it broke it. :O

I've seen shows about UFOs where people have described that whomp, whomp, noise. It's a UFO, but sometimes they make themselves invisible, but you can still hear them. They are supposed to be extremely LARGE!

I've often wondered what I would do if my cat caught her tail on fire around a candle, so the only place I sit them is on top of the entertainment center. It's too high for her to jump to the top.

Your poor cat! I bet she/he looked pretty weird walking around with a scorched tail. LOL (That's not funny!)

Orbs are translucent balls or spheres of energy, which are comprised of spiritual matter and consciousness. Many people believe that the orbs are spiritual beings of some sort, such as angels or spirit guides. They are most commonly shades of white but can also be different colors such as blue or green. Colored orbs are more rare and can be angels or archangels. Orbs are benign and harmless, as they are spirits "going about their business".

I've read other articles that also say blue orbs are healers. I would feel good knowing I had a healing spirit around me like that, if I were you. Next time you see it, thank it for watching over you.
From what I've read, it's the orange ones that you have to watch out for. They don't seem to be so nice.

There are others who have posted on this thread about seeing different colored orbs. I don't know if you have time to scan through the thread, but you aren't alone. Hope that makes you feel better.
