Yeah, I know what you mean. If I could remember all the music that has come to me while asleep, I would be RICH!
I get so upset because when I DO wake up enough to write it down, which isn't very often, it leaves me in a flat 30 seconds!

When I'm doing dream analysis I sometimes feel the information coming from above, or my higher self. And there have been many other occasions.

Artistic inspiration feels good, huh?

thanks Sled, he did have a white glow, but he did look confused, i wondered if he had just passed, i spent the next day looking for lads that had died all around that time on the internet but couldn't find anything.

about the eye thing, i did wonder if it was to do with telepathy and trying to speak through the mind.

He could have been a live person who ended up at your place for some reason while having an OBE.
There are people who can be seen by others when they're having an out of body experience. He would also have been a very enlightened person, if he were emitting a white light.

interesting, i didn't know a person could see an obe person? im trying AP at the minute, im very close, i have the vibration which is mad! only managed to get my legs and head out, it is such a strange feeling!!

Have you asked your guide to come help you? They should, if it is something you need to learn.

Yes, I have read posts where people report seeing other people they know while they are having an OBE. I didn't know that either until I read it.

Either the people having the OBE are very spiritually enlightened, or the people who can see them are very psychic,
or both.

I find, at times, I seriously lack tact, diplomacy, patience and understanding . You seem to have an abundance of these traits, and I enjoy learning from you, hopefully to develop some of my own.

One theory about the ghost I saw when I was nine that I recently came up with was it was someone astral projecting. I don't know if 13 year old girls can astral project with rollerskates though. I also saw a pitch black transforming ufo in Colorado when I was about 16 by the way.

seriously though, i'll have a go at asking and see how it goes. i don't want to get any guides into trouble for helping me though.

speaking of any other paranormal things happening, my little budgie passed away early hours friday morning, just before i eventually got to sleep i said aloud i didn't want anyone watching over me that night, told them to go, leave me and just watch over my budgie make sure he's ok. i wake up in the morning and go into the front room and noticed the lights on a picture i have were on (its a long canvas picture of candles and when switched on they flicker) they were the first thing i turned off that night and looked all round the room noticing how quiet it was without the bird, so i know i turned them off. thats the second time thats happened and the main lights in the lounge last year have turned themselves on before twice aswell.

i wonder if the spirits turned them on just to let me know i wasn't on my own and they weren't going to leave me while i was so upset.

Since childhood I have been aware of tapping into some sort of 'universal' knowledge'. I had no idea for years where these thoughts and ideas came from, until I began hearing about great inventors, scientists, et cetra who claim their inventions and ideas were 'given' to them from a 'higher' source.
Something about 'creating' seems to tap in to another realm for me. When I am having trouble deciding on which design will be the best for my project I either just 'know' and 'feel' what to do next, or I'll dream about a solution.
I liked to write poetry, and occasionally the words will just 'pop into my mind' faster than I can write them down. I don't feel as if they are coming from my sub conscious, as it isn't how I would think or word things.
I have been working on a craft project lately which has brought this to mind. Ideas are coming faster than I can think!

I just get such a strong sense at times like this that the thoughts are coming from outside of my mind.
Anyway, just thought I'd share.

All of this makes perfect sense to me, too! I've had all kinds of things wake me up in the middle of the night, making me grope around for a pen and paper to jot them down before I can go back to sleep. Some things stayed little paragraphs and some became songs.

I'd never even thought of channeling before Dec. 5, 2008, but that evening it happened quite by accident. It was two trains of thought running independently of each other, and for several minutes I was afraid I'd finally snapped. I kept up with the "stranger in my head" and ended up with some rather profound things. Since then I've looked at some of the stuff that seemed to write itself years before, and considered that at least some of it may have been channeling.

I have poems and songs that have written themselves, and even had a dream about this. I was walking outside a building with open windows, I mean there was no glass in them, only the open spaces cut. It was like Heaven or something; there was no bad weather to consider. All classrooms were open here.

I was walking with a group of people when the teacher's voice from inside the classroom caught my attention. I wondered if I could maybe go in and listen to his lecture, and then POOF all of a sudden I was in the room, sitting in a chair. The thought transported me instantly into the room. I was sitting there taking it all in, and my attention drifted from the teacher.

He started to write something on the chalkboard, then turned to the class and said "Like so-and-so said (I didn't catch the name he said), God writes them down, I just hold the pen." That statement woke me up immediately, and I sat up groping for a pen to write this down. I marveled at that for days until I finally decided to look online to see if anybody real had said anything like that.

I googled the sentence, and found out Hank Williams Sr. said it. If you don't know who he was, he was one of the most influential country artists of the late 40s and early 50s. He died in 1953 at 27, but by then he had already made a major impact on country music. Strangely enough, the first recording session he ever had was on my birthday (albeit several years before I was born).

More recently, I was half awake and half asleep when a song started in my head. It was 'Rolling With The Flow," by Charlie Rich, another late great country artist. I love the song, and so I had a nice warm fuzzy feeling as I prepared to listen to it play in my mind. The first line was originally "Once was a thought inside my head," but that's not what I heard. I heard, "I believe in God's amazing grace," and that woke me up!

I got up and put my TV on the classic country music station, hoping to hear that song. After about 4 songs I thought, there's no way I could expect that to play this quickly. To my utter amazement, it was the very next song. That's synchronicity at work! Then I did some research on Charlie Rich, and discovered he had recorded several gospel songs but they never were embraced like the other stuff he did, and this frustrated him terribly.

It may be a stretch, but then again I have to wonder... is he trying to send a song my way? I've been checking into the legalities of the situation if I write a completely different set of lyrics to a classic tune. I'd probably have to get cleared by his family, or whoever owns the rights to his musical legacy if that were to ever happen. I may try to channel the rest of it so I could have something to show someone, and say here, this is what came to me. Is there any way we can get this song out in his memory or something?

But that's not as paranormal as some of the stuff on here... I hope I don't get deleted! It's just so cool to know other people have some of the same experiences I do, and it's not just me and an overactive imagination!

Oh yeah, I just remembered this - I was doing some embroidery work back in the 80s and ran into problems in how to direct the stitches to make a realistic looking coat on a lamb. That night in a dream I saw a closeup of two hands moving in slow motion, making stitches in a woven pattern, and I woke up and jotted it down. It worked perfectly when I did the same thing!

Oh, Scribe; I think I have truly found a kindred soul!
Hanks Williams Sr. may have been before my time, but not my mothers, and she had one of his records.I just loved his voice, and now I have every song he's ever recorded! (I think...lol)
While reading about Charlie Rich I couldn't help but wonder: maybe you are hearing the original words he wrote, but changed the words to the tune to publish it? I have done that more that once...I have a 'public' version, and one that I'll only sing for family and the closest of friends.
I seem to have an all-consuming passion for some of the creative arts, and if I get stumped on a project that's really important to me, it plays in the back of my mind all day, and even in my dreams.
I feel like if I keep my eyes open, the answer will find me. I don't give it conscious thought, but it's there. Sometimes the solution appears in a dream; sometimes it's in the life around me- Looking at a flower in the garden might show me the color I've been looking for, or a soap bubble in the dishwater might be the shape I need to use...
I'd saw 'it's hard to explain', but YOU know what I'm talking about!

You saw a ghost, or someone having an OBE while rollerskating? Well now... that's different!

I can't answer that, but it had to be one or the other. If it was someone having an OBE, I bet she freaked out when she went airborne! I hope she had a safe landing!

Transforming UFO? What do you mean, "transforming"?

I would love to hear your two encounters in more detail, if you don't mind sharing.

Losing a pet is as heart-breaking as losing a family member... because they ARE part of our family. Sorry for you loss.

It could be the spirits letting you know they heard you. Could even have been your little bird.

Everyone has a spirit guide... everyone. You may not be in contact on a conscious level, but I assure you two meet when you sleep and go over the important things you chose for your path in this life.

Just ask and see what happens. But, you need to believe they are there. If you go in with a closed mind, you won't feel him/her, or know they are with you.

See the little envelope in the right top menu? Click on that, then just enter my user name in the "compose to" area on the right. There is a "send" button at the bottom when you are ready.

I saw the ufo initially as a hot air balloon. It then looked like a helicopter and finally an airplane. It was really weird how it seemed to transform instantaneously as well as very slowly and smoothly. It was very confusing and kind of hard to explain. I saw it appear out of thin air out of the corner of my eye and then it just vanished, left or possibly cloaked in a few seconds when I began to look at it head on. It was the darkest black I have ever seen over a clear summer sky.

It's been a while since I posted here. Well I have a new story for your thread. Fresh outa last night! lol

I was having a beer and watching the game ( it was my first beer so booze isn't a factor here lol). And my wife and kids were all upstairs, kids sleeping and the wife watching tv.

I suddenly felt a warm cozy feeling all over! Not the same as from heating ducts though, hard to explain. Anyway, then came a very distinct smell of lilacs. And this was a strong smell, although pleasant.

I had never smelled this before in my house. I went to see if my wife was the cause, well NO as she was snoring pretty loudly....lol....and so was her dog.....lolllllll

So it lasted about 10-15 minutes and then dissipated. I still have no clue where it came from.

This was not a scary moment at all, Actualluy, I enjoyed this and hope it comes back around. Whatever it was i wanted more. Well at least I know what I mean...loll

Any thoughts on the source of this smell?

Oh and the Habs won the Game!! Whoot Whoot!

I have had two UFO sightings, and ghostly encounters as well. All of my experiences were shared, The first UFO sighting was of a delta shaped craft in the Cooperstown NY area, shared with a coiworker who witnessed as well. The second was a blue Orb that crossed the sky, and turned to speed along the horizon. I witnessed this one with my wife. I also shared a ghsotly encounter with her late father the day after our wedding. We were watching TV, old antenna TV at the time. Suddenly we lost the TV signal, there was clear elctromagnetic inteferance, and we both felt a tingling energy come over us. We both were drawn to look to an empty doorway, and both almost in unison said "Its your father". His presence was there, and the energy was joy. It was clear he was visiting us as a way of approving our marriage.

I believe that if you are open, and clear hearted to the paranormal you have a likely chance of experiencing multipole encounters.

I've had 3 premonition/inutitionl things happen in the last 4 days after a quiet spell with nothing going on.

I'm wondering why?

Maybe it is just because I have had to do a lot of thinking about paranormal topics this last week and it fired up the intuition or something....weird...

Anyways, was just a strange pondering I had about intuition and focus.
