Oh honey, I'm sorry if I came across as rude. That's the trouble with communicating on the internet; people can't see you to tell what your emotions are.

I said NO like that because that is the last thing you need to do. Capitol letters to emphasize "Please don't go down to the basement!!" LOL

It seems demons love basements for some reason. Guess it feels like the closest thing to home for them. LOL

I don't doubt your story at all. Just take a look at the others posted here, and you'll see that I don't ridicule anyone.

I haven't been to bed all day, so my brain is fuzzy. Maybe that's the problem.

Speaking of sleep... you say that's when "things" happen. That's because that's when our brain is in the "special state" to make contact the easiest. Just because it doesn't happen when you're awake doesn't mean "he" isn't there inside you.
I don't mean to freak you out. Well... if it will make you seek help, maybe I do mean to freak you out.

Call Amy on The Dead Files t.v. show and get them to investigate, or contact that lady I just posted for you, but do something SOON.

The scratches are from a demon, and he is possessing you while you sleep. Get rid of him!

That WOULD take a lot our of a person, I'm sure. I don't think I could do it either.

I've seen shows on t.v. where the psychic/medium is affected physically by seeing/feeling what the victim went through. It looks pretty bad! How do they stand the pain of experiencing one's death?

Well, something like that could go many ways when you experience it. When I was working the JVP site, I would constantly watch peoples loved ones die before they even said what had happened, there was no feeling there because I was an observer, however, twice that I can think of where I felt what happened to someone, and both times were very painful, and both times caught me off guard. This last one, where I was inside someones body when they died was bad enough to make me think twice, three times even before I attempt something like that again. I didn't like having my head caved in, and I can still smell the scent of burning mental activity as it leaves the body when I think about it. It smells much like electrical heat/fire. No thank you.

I have seen several psychics on TV who apparently can do this too, and I don't know how they can continually go through that. Maybe some form of protection or shielding makes it less intense, that I don't know, as I have had to go it alone my entire life when it comes to the psychic awareness, I never had the luxury of mentors until I came across JVP, and all they really did for me personally, was over expose me to grief and loss from other people, which helped me to shut those doors most of the way.

I try really hard, especially after this last death experience not to reopen those "gifts"/"abilities" whatever people want to call them. I learned an awful lot out of the last experience, and it was a great reminder to be very cautious and keep my own guard up.

If I were to do anything like that again, it would be local, and along side the police department.

Hey, that house I was talking about... the people are still there! I have noticed a lighter "feeling" when I drive by, so maybe they got rid of it. But, I also notice that every light in the house is on too. Every room is lit up, even the garage.
Maybe they're just keeping it at bay with the lights?

Oh, well. I don't know about the UK. I doubt they would travel across the ocean.

Seems like so many paranormal incidents happen in the UK, and more UFO sightings there too.

Just see if you can find someone in your area that can get rid of them. The lady I mentioned may be able to do it telepathically; I'm not sure.

I always wondered why everyone does everything in the dark when it comes to ghosts and spirits and paranormal investigations. Even when we were at the Palmer house sitting in the basement, in the dark, it was a question I was wondering about. Spirits do not care if the light is on or not, I think it just makes the people feel better to have lights on.

Think about it. When you get knocks on your dresser or on a table, is it in the dark? Most of the time...no.

I think the darkness is just for human effect and adds to the mystery. I don't think it effects spirit beings unless they are allergic to the sun or something.

Then again though, I wonder about shadow people...or shadow beings, who seem to depend on shadows to move here and there, like they live in the shadows.....perhaps it is a forth dimension thing...a shadow could be 4d or something.

my dad when he was younger used to see this old lady sat on his bed every night didnt freak him out.

but we just recently found a old newspaper story saying how a old women was locked in cupboard in dads childhood bedroom and starved to death by her own son and dad always said she seemed sad and just wanted to care for dad when he was ill i know when i stayed there i thought she was my imaginary friend

I think the darkness makes the ghost/spirit more inviting. Yeah, I've had things happen at all hours too, but it seems they happen for most at night... or, maybe that's just t.v.

I was only thinking of receiving clues such as the age of the missing person, the surroundings where it happened, what the perpetrator looked like (very unique), and things like that. It never occurred to me that one might go so far as to experience what actually happened!
Nothing is known except that someone went missing, and during the search one 'really helpful' person raised suspicion. Subsequently, he failed three lie detector test.
I worked with that person. Family members knew the missing person. Any description of them I could verify as accurate or not, nothing else.
Now I have egg on my face! lol
OF COURSE you would pick up on anything tragic; WHY did that thought not cross my mind?!!

yeah i don't belie spirits purposely make contact i believe ghosts are on different time plains where sometimes the borders are thin and ghosts think we are ghosts and we think they ghosts

Oh, but they do make contact. They rattle doors, knock on walls, flicker lights, tap us on the shoulder... anything to try to get us to be aware of their presence. We may not be able to always see them with our physical eyes, but they are there.

I understand what you are saying about them thinking we may be ghosts.
There was a show on The Dead Files where the medium, Amy Allen, saw a woman and her children hiding in the closet. The woman wouldn't communicate with Amy because she thought Amy was a ghost; she was afraid of her.
