The issue is that this country has moved so far to the right that what used to be moderate Republican views are now seen as liberal-views. This is how a President with policies more conservative than Reagan himself (Obama) can be painted as a socialist far left liberal.

People can say what they want about the media on either side of this equation but my own disgust comes not from the ideologies of Liberal or Conservative but from the endless antagonistic hyperbole employed by both sides.

Also, just as an aside, I find it frightening that right-wing nutjobs think Liberals control the world or some nonsense. Maybe if we could sit down and discuss things rationally without the overblown paranoia and propaganda we could actually make progress in this country, instead we are quagmired by people who just want to have an argument for the sake of arguing (monty python sketch goes here).

As long as the finger pointing continues we will get nowhere. To claim a side, left or right is silly as there is no "100% right" on either side. Somewhere in the middle is the truth. Yeah fox news is "right", just as msnbc is "left". I don't support either side and i believe to criticize one and not the other is just foolish and gets you nowhere. In my opinion neither one is worth listening to anyway.

The continuation of this left-right battle will be the death of us.

Both Fox and MSNBC are leftist news outlets. It is just that MSNBC is left all the way, FOX is leftist only in a Political and economic sense.
