I've really enjoyed this thread, it's a good thing everyone has stuck on topic here, discussing the money donated to the Liberty Super Pac. Oh wait, sorry we have two pages of B.S.

On the note of the subject, hopefully it injects a little life into the campaign. Hopefully he donates more.

oh the contrary,
the intent, ties and integrity
of Paul's donors are a direct impact
on the campaign and are quite on-topic.

If this had been donated by a White Supremacist group
like Stormfront, would that also be pertinent ???
Of course it would. Thiel is no different.

Oh yes, I forgot that this was just as important to discuss as the individual that donated money. Yes now that you pointed it out to me, I can see how this pertains to the conversation.....

And yes, I realize I am just adding to the B.S. Now. Im off this discussion now.

Follow the T&C and stick to the discussion. No personal attacks, no derailing the thread for your overlords. This is a discussion in regards to Thiel and the money he donated to a Super-PAC for Ron Paul. I don't think that this thread is in regards to Ron Paul himself. Stay on topic.

disregarding the childish skirmishes happening on this thread...

it's good to see that not only the corporate puppets can get sizable donations. doing some research on the guy. seems he started a libertarian newspaper over there at stanford. The Stanford Review has some pretty decent stories.
from what i can see so far seems like a pretty decent guy, whom took of the capitalist system.
well with that said. good for RP 20012.

I would take money from ANYONE if I were running............This post is like saying,,dont drive your car,,the gas and oil money is going to tptb shills,,,hhahahaha this post is a weak attempt by a very uninformed person...Glad I own a farm because IF Obama gets elected again,,IM GOING TO LAUGH MY BUTT OFF AT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR HIM when the funds get to the end of the rope...

Hahaha,

If this guy were donating to Romney he would be demonized to the fullest extent possible on ATS.
This does prove RP is just another facade of the "Mainstream".
Wonder what economic advantage this billionaire is hedging if RP gets any actual position of power when he endorses another candidate inevitably. Perhaps he is gambling on RP in a Cabinet position, where he can use his corrupt powers to further enrich the donors RP is enslaving himself to.

You make a claim, prove it and make the connections of how Peter Thiel (as you claimed to be TPTB? ) benefits from a President Paul.

Peter Thiel is a LIBERTARIAN that donated to Endorse LIBERTY PAC, which is run by a college student that started it in his college dorm room.

lol...TPTB that.

you sheep never learn, hehehe

those type of responses automatically discredit anything you have to say

Right, and it has absolutely nothing being an ACTUAL LIBERTARIAN.

Point out the connections in Paul's campaign that would feed special interests

If you know someone to be a troll...ignore them! Don't you see, they get their jollies off the banter you provide. Still, thanks for the post...great news!

So, assuming this is true, I expect I will NEVER again see the graph comparing billionaire donors among the candidates?

Stop feeding the troll and get on with the thread.

I'm glad there are some rich people out there that are willing to go against their best economic interest. There needs to be more and more of them.

You see the same claims made with anyone in the media that is pro-Paul. I remember hearing that Judge Napolitano was a shill because he was on Fox, and therefore you shouldn't trust Paul.. Yet he gets fired for being too honest. Same with Ventura (although he can be a little nutty at times).

They go against the grain, and people think they're apart of some conspiracy. Embrace the people with enough balls to come out and say something. They'll pay for it eventually - they're not always 'controlled opposition'.

If Ron Paul doesn't get the republican nomination he should go the brewsers millions route, and run on the
"VOTE FOR NONE OF THE ABOVE" ticket, should be a landslide.
