Oh yeah like it should have been obvious man.

Maybe it should be in the top 100 most stupid asked questions. I always thought he said "and all I've got is a head thats steal. I really thought someone might give me some interesting links to look at about rock stars being satanist instead of bashing my stupid thread.

I'm from Norway and play in a metalband. (www.atrox-web.com)
I know many of the great Blackmetal musicians in Norway, who are also the greatest in the world, hence blackmetal IS norwegian. All I can say is that these guys are some of the most loving people you can find. They dress up and seem evil, but the fact is that many of them work in nurserys, schools etc etc and prefer crazy comedy movies
) There are certainly SOME satanistic rockstar out there, but generally I think that line of thought is totally ferschnicket
)

Rock-musicians are just as white, black, yellow, red or brown as the rest of the world but have a tendency to actually think for them selves ;o)

I didn't start this thread to bash anyone who is a satanist. All I was really wondering if I may clarify a bit is: does satanism give one an advantage that others don't have? Has it awakened something in them that gives them more ability than they might have had to do whatever they are attempting to do? Or is it just a gimmick that sells to teen record buyers and all based strictly on hard work? The bottom line is, is there a link between satanism and extreme success.

I'm not on the inside, I'm no expert on world affairs, I have no deep knowledge to share. I'm just trying to figure out how the world really works, thats all. I'm a musician and singer myself just trying to figure out how to get somewhere in life.

Ahh, I see. Well, I'm not a professional satanist, but I have read a little on the topic. There is one thing with this "religion" that might be an advantage. That is the need and encouraging of making up ones own min, not affected by others. I generally think people with good determination and the ability to think things through from all different angles has an advantage in any situation, and this is encouraged through satanism -and many other faiths/religions as well.

Other than that; I don't think so

Just cos a band has 1 or 2 songs on an album related to satan or evil doings doesnt mean they are satanists.
I write songs about murder and death and i aint a satanist.

No,most of them are not satanists.There are some satanic bands from swedan and switzerland,but very few people have heard of them.Acdc,van halen,rolling stones,led zeppelin etc.These are just musicians who made alot of money and read alot of books.They are not satanists.

VERY WELL SAID! Satanism, in the form envisioned by LaVey is actually anti-religious.
