I dont remember any yrs we had such weird temperature
the yrs 2012 is a record for the worst Winter (no snow) ever in Canada

In UK and France .. they probably had more snow then us
which is unbelievable

The road sides are at this time high up to 6 feets of snow
now everywhere the snow is melting .. and a little bit of ice
caused by the last rain

It is still a little bit cold .. but not that much compare to all the winters we had in the past

Did Al Gore was right or what ..

Can this be caused by the global warming ?
or the earth has started to shift ..
and now the UK and all other countries that normaly dont get a lot of snow
will have Canadas winters for the futur
what will next yrs bring us ..
will 2013 be the last yrs Canada sees snow ?
look like we are headed for that

Farmers who planted winter wheat out here in the prairies are worried that the lack of snowfall means the seeds lie unprotected, exposed to wind, birds and the lack of spring melt means little or no harvest come July.

FEETS??? Really? Seriously??/ i hope English is not your primary language or I could compare you to our illustrious and ghetto fabulous President Barack "I don't know what the # feet are" Obama.

Uh

Here in Canada we measure things up in feets and thumbs

FEETS / thumbs in french = DES PIEDS pis des pouces

Grammar / spelling Nazis don't contribute, they just show how small minded they are.

To the OP, apart from a little snow last week, the UK winter has been mild really, it seems that Eastern Europe has had it the worst.

I haven't seen any snow at all this winter

Yeah, I know, we barely have any snow here as well. We recently had one big snowfall, which allowed me to go snowboard for the first time this season just two weeks ago but before that, I could see the grass everywhere.

A foot (plural: feet; abbreviation or symbol: ft or ′ (the prime symbol) is a unit of length in a number of different systems including Ancient Greek, Ancient Roman, English units, Imperial units, United States customary units and the units of many Continental European countries.

Et comme plusieurs Canadiens, je suis bilingue aussi.

I knew what you were referring to, as I pointed out. But it was fairly obvious what the OP meant, there was no need for you to post something unproductive and irrelevant to derail the thread, and which to be honest was borderline trolling.

I remember reading somewhere that the current jet stream across the Atlantic isn't flowing the way it normally would, which explains the weird weather, I'm no meteorologist though, so I couldn't explain it, lol.

I knew it was linked to the pole rotation in a way
the weather is so freakin uniquely anormal ..
that it might be the only logical explanation i can see so far

its called a POLE SHIFT, carbon taxes etc were just a means to cash in ie the American dream. Gore is not right just an opportunist and a good one at that.

Carbon taxes are like a "magical rock which keeps tigers away"

It's true that in Montreal, the weather is abnormal for this time of the year. It's like we're having spring a month and a half in advance.

I usually hate February as it's cold as ice and there's just never ending snow...but not this year.

Yet Romania got buried in snow...

Extreme Snow in Romania

The climate is (use of colorful word is prohibited by the T&C).

There is a need. people need to learn to speak properly. Its getting ridiculous . They don't know the damn difference between men or man, woman or women, whether or weather, lose or loose, advice or advise and when the supposed leader of the free world says FEETS on TV and doesn't know how the hell to pronounce words properly, its a damn problem.

WALDOP,

Not all ATS members have english as their first language, Ben's first language is french. So is mine. I don't consider it a damn problem but your problem.

And Welcome to ATS !
