No Tv, no video games, no radio, no internet for 1 month

This is no big deal, thousands of people live like this, in prison

Just went 3 months, changed phone/internet carriers & they had it so messed up, one week to get phone service & was over 2 months & they still never got internet hooked up right. 3 months without internet... Did ok, started reading books again (I usually just read online). BUT I do enjoy the brain food this provides. I found myself making lists of things I wanted to know that I had to lookup online. A week before internet (at home) I broke down & got a phone with internet access. The moral of the story? don't go with AT&T. lol ...
(the employees are nice but the company is so huge & disorganized it's a joke).
My theory is that we are about to take a quantum leap in time anyways & the information highway is just one step before this. I love being able to look things up & it doesn't seem to inhibit my social life, but add to it (not meaning online social life but just the ability to use the computer for brain fitness just like physical fitness).
I did get some good books though cause we'll prob be without this tech stuff soon enough.
