Let him scream. They'll all be screaming for blood come November 3rd (and multiple recounts).
As far as being a war hawk, I don't recall specifically mentioning support for the war effort in this topic. Support for the war or opposition to it
was not my point here, the lack of reporting on the factual WMD discoveries thus far is my concern. But thanks for posting anyway.
Oh, and for the record, I am traditionally an opponent of war. I was against Magadishu campaign, Kosovo (where there WERE in fact, US deaths, contrary
to those idiots on the Clinton admin. that are trying to suppress the info in the name of legacy-building), and the rampant, continued, uncalculated
bombing of Iraq during the entire duration of the previous admin (check the numbers, many more Iraqis died at the hands or as a result of allied
bombing during Clinton's Presidency).
In this case, based on the things I have seen, heard, and read/discovered, I support the war in Iraq, and the radical advancement of George W Bush's
foreign policy. Just because the radical left views any sort of overt display of self preservation or destruction of a percieved threat as
'imperialism' doesn't make it wrong. It makes it a different view, held by the man in office.
I thought the way in which NATO, under the command of Clinton's lapdog Wes Clark carelessly bombed the Balkan region regardless of civilian cost was
a humanitarian disaster, but because a looney lefty was in office, noone said a word and turned a blind eye to a war waged without even mentioning a
threat, real or perceived, to America. Not to mention the way in which Clinton's cronies secretly advanced the cause of rebel Chechen fighters to
establish an independant nation they could push their oil pipeline through. We all recently saw how well they did their job, huh? Now Putin is getting
tough on terror and the lefties are screaming over his method. So, in summary, I generally don't like war, and take the dove side of the issue.
But I do appreciate the generalization and stereotyping.
And again, why were the WMD discoveries mentioned thus far not reported in the mainstream or given anything more than a passing mention? The whole
'reason' we went and the media doesn't even take notice?
