lake vostoc

if atlantis is not myth and it might have been antartica would lake wostoc have any conection? i know nasa and the united states goverment are really gung-ho about finding "water" underneath. think it is just a cover story for maybe finding articfacts? or really just water underneath

Vostok is thought to have water and bacteria living underneath it. I don't think its necessarily the 'governments' of any countries that are trying to get to it, just researchers. Yes, they probably have a governement research grant, but if the gov was 'gun-ho' i expect they'd send their own people out there.
