The Keystone pipeline was a farce, designed to jack up prices. As the prospectus put out by the TransCanada stated, the sole purpose of the pipeline was to relieve the GLUT of tar sands crude at Midwestern refineries and putting pressure on Big Oil to LOWER prices. The solution? Pipe the oil to under-utilized southern refineries so they could KEEP THOSE OIL PRICES INFLATED.
The sad part is how gullible the sheep are, even when TransCanada's own documents show just what they wanted the pipeline for, they still think it's "about jobs". Pays to have a 24/7 propaganda network like FOX pushing these lies.
Even sadder is how easily divided Issa and the GOP congress is making the US by cramming this theocratic-driven agenda down our throats, even worse they would exclude testimony by WOMEN over this issue - the patriarchs have spoken, eh?

It's hard for Obama to get re-elected if the price of gas is $7 a gallon.
Womens health will NOT be the number one thing on everyones mind.
According to James Carville, "It's the economy, stupid." Remember?

Stop playing the victim card. It's sad and it won't work.
Look, as much as you would like to blame the President for everything you disagree with in the world today, that hardly makes it true.
$7 a gallon gas, if it indeed comes to pass, would not in any way be the sole fault of the President and/or his policies and most americans are smart enough to realize that truth. Hell, the other day I read a thread where the current Falkland Island issue was somehow his fault. What, does he run the U.K. too? Is there anything that is not the Presidents fault?
Furthermore, in case you hadn't noticed, the economy is slowly getting better and the GOP has apparently decided that it's their religious ideology imposed upon others that they will use to influence voters to support their nominee. Hardly a winning stance, if you ask me.edit on 17-2-2012 by Flatfish because: (no reason given)
Actually the President has declared war on drilling in the U.S. and even went so far as to kill the pipeline. He has already said that he was okay with people paying more for gas, so yes it is his fault. Second, just because we see some doctored numbers does not mean that the economy is getting better. On the contrary almost everyone I talk to, especially SMB owners are telling a very different tale. This President and his socialist ilk are so anti-business that it is disgusting.

The Keystone Pipeline is ready to go.
It turns out they have already bought the actual pipes to build it.
All they need is a green light from Washington DC.
Keystone XL is an export pipeline. According to presentations to investors, Gulf Coast refiners plan to refine the cheap Canadian crude supplied by the pipeline into diesel and other products for export to Europe and Latin America. Proceeds from these exports are earned tax-free. Much of the fuel refined from the pipeline’s heavy crude oil will never reach U.S. drivers’ tanks.

So you don't see anything absurd about a group of men trying to make decisions for all women without their input?
Wow, whatever happened to DENYING IGNORANCE?

The traditionalist's/Church's long term goal is to expand upon it to the point it over lapses and drags women into it(hold males to such a high, extreme standard while giving female the vagina pass for a long enough time and their will be an explosive demand for "equality", forcing females into the same system.).
Tactics like these by the Church/traditionalist's I call "the traditionalist's noose". As they will allow for traditionalist to turn the clock backwards in regards to gender rights and traditions/customs. And since feminist's are such blind female supremacist male hating bigots, they will gladly fall for the noose time and time again. Because when you allow or engage in the dehumanization of another person you yourself become dehumanized as well.

The traditionalist noose is tightening, granted traditionalist's are just as big man-haters as feminist's, but it will be amusing to see what is going to happen next as traditionalist's begin to accelerate their pogrom in fear of a male revolt in the face the outright female supremacist undertones of our society.

Women fell for the traditionalist trap laid in the late 70's(after the ERA failed to pass). Because you have to remember these traditionalist's are often more insane or just as insane as the most extreme leftist lesbian seperatist feminist. The bait was put down in the 90's with the zeal to uphold men's "traditional" responsibilities, albeit the ones that benefited women(financial) . Well there is a funny thing called balance, something which always tries to exert itself.
You have to understand that the reason why traditionalist's go along with the whole man-hating thing is because if they didn't they wouldn't be able to turn the clock back. And if you can't see how this is relevant, then it just means your predisposed to being run over by the forces of History instead of being able to see the flow and getting out of the way.
