I for one really can't wait until this elections is over. I have never been so disgusted with peoples actions and stances before. So many of these partisan right wing and left wing supports will justify almost ANYTHING to try and prove that their side is correct and the other is wrong. These people need to really try and grow up and look at things from a different angle instead of being so bull headed and stubborn.

I just can't wait until the elections are over so some of this mudslinging and bickering will die down a little.

I'll have to agree with you on that one. It doesn't matter if it is the extreme republicans or extreme democrats; they're both annoying as hell.

Damn straight, brother! It irritates me to no end! One would expect a community that denies ignorance to have less of a problem with this but ATS is no exception! Constant finger pointing won't improve a damn thing!

I'm surprised they haven't resorted to the 'my d--- is bigger than yours' bit.

I totally agree. I'm so sick of hearing people argue and bicker over politics, and I'm sick of people being so stubborn about it. All these people want to do is to shove their beliefs down people throats without taking the time to look at what the other side has to say. I can't wait till the elections are over.

All this mud-slinging: When the only way you can elevate yourself is by ridiculing another, you know there is a problem.

Personally, I think ATS has gone down hill a little as we come closer to election day. I see more and more people flamming each other and I see more mindless political discussion and less posts on conspiracies and the like. On different threads I've seen gangs of republicans and gangs of democrats just go at it, and it's just so annoying. Jonna, you're right, when all people do is insult people for their self-esteem, we do have a problem.

Yeah, lets get back to talking about UFO's and Bigfoot.

The only mud-slinging I enjoy involves women in bikinis, not middle-aged men in suits...

The only thing worse than a right-winger trying to tell you how to live is a left-winger trying to tell you how to live.

In a perfect world they would promptly remove their heads from their respective rear-ends and work together for the people that hired them and pay their salaries. Namely, us!

Lucikily we have Campaign 2004 issues which is a great resource for the information and facts instead of all this mudslinging. I will have to agree with ThunderCloud on that one for sure!
